This morning while I was on my laptop, my mind went back to a conversation I had with my client

I’m still trying to remember her exact words, but I can remember telling her that

"The Landing page is not all it is about creating a funnel, but a part of the funnel that helps you collect the contacts of your target audience"

If you are like this my client, this is probably what you are still doing

Create a bait, set up a landing page, draw people to your landing page to get your bait, collect their contact and start sending them emails to get your paid offer
***

Is that it?

What you are simply doing is automation and less of what a proper funnel should be

To be successful in launching your online courses, programs or service, you need to focus more on

creating a proper funnel strategy, identifying areas that needs to be automated, and the areas that you need to do the work manually. Then you can go ahead to implement

What does marketing automation mean to you?

While that is true you need to know that marketing automation is meant to help you work less while earning more, and not taking the work away from you

An effective automated system takes more than just setting up a sales page to sell your offer

I mean, it's dipper than you think

You need to do the work to be able to get potential buyers buy from you when they land on your sales page.
This is why you need the perfect sales funnel strategy for every offer you put out there

Long Sales Pages vs Short Sales Pages?

Before I answer this question for you, I need you to answer it yourself

Maybe I should rephrase the question...

What did you do the last time you encountered a long sales page?

I bet the only reason you will read half of it is that use the writer is very good at writing copies

But even though that is the case, I am sure you will surely skip to the part you consider more interesting and important to you

Right?

Well... some elements must be included on your sales pages and if those elements are properly written and arranged in such a way that it keeps your audience wanting to know more then you already succeeded in turning a prospect into a ready and then into a buyer.

You just need to get it right and you will know that most of the things you plan to add to your sales page are not necessary

Who are brain pickers?

**if that question is on your mind then you should go read my last post before this one**

Okay, I will assume we are on the same page.

'Brain pickers will always be brain pickers'

The sentence you just read could be true for you if nothing is being done

Now, what if I tell you that most of those people you call brain pickers are waiting for you to name your price?

But come to think of it, what is stopping them from paying you?

YOU DON'T HAVE A PRODUCT

If these people know you have a course on a particular problem they are facing it'll be hard for them to come asking you questions and expecting free answers because they know you will redirect them to that paid offer (at least not all)

The only people that will come asking deep questions about a topic when you have a course on that are people I call "premium brain pickers" and these sets may never buy from you (avoid them if you can)

Now, do you have an idea that is worth paying for?

Create a product!

Hello, Course Creators

IT'S TIME TO SET BOUNDARIES

Whether you like it or not people will always come to you with the entitlement mindset to get for free what they didn't keep

The amazing part is that these particular sets will never pay for any of your paid courses but always want you to answer their questions or solve their problem when they need you to

** Hey, don't get me wrong**

This is quite different from your willingness to give out or impact lives.

I mean, this content you are currently reading is free and you are not paying to read it

Right?

This is what is unexceptionable

People come to your dm with all sorts of complaints and problems and expect you to give them all your solution for free

Okay, let's say you have a minimum of 10 DMs with complaints every day, how do you intend to focus on the things that matter most?

As a coach or course creator, you got to set boundaries when it comes to your time if you want to prevent burnt out with an empty pocket

YES!
It's okay to set boundaries!

KNOWING HOW TO RUN FACEBOOK AD WON'T help SELL YOUR ONLINE COURSES

Being able to reach thousands of audience in a day using sponsored advert is one of the privileges we are enjoying as course creators but then

No matter how good you are at creating those campaigns, you still won't sell your online courses successfully if you keep ignoring other important things that actually bring the conversion

To get it right you need to also pay attention to these three

1. Your Content
2. Your Sales Page
3. A launch plan/strategy

If you can get these three right then you will never have to complain about your advert not converting

What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear lead magnet?

I bet your answer is 'Free Gift'

I mean that's why it's called bait right?

But here is what I have to say...

It's okay to charge for your Lead Magnet

So the next time you feel like charging a token for your lead magnet, take it as a good feeling

I mean, why not?

Remember, I said a 'token'

It shouldn't be your usual charge but take it as a commitment your prospects need to make (like a gate fee😄).

MONETIZING YOUR KNOWLEDGE BECAUSE YOUR ARE BROKE IS TOTALLY OKAY!

You don't always look like your value when you are just starting out

Your intention for monetizing your knowledge online could even be because you need money

Chances are, you also want to impact lives while making money but then you are still struggling with funds to invest in yourself and business

Don't be scared to monetize your knowledge because you feel you shouldn't be broke knowing all that you know

Before you get me wrong....

I'm not saying you should go about selling what doesn't give value to your audience just because you need money to sort out your bills

I'm talking about monetizing your knowledge because you understand the problem faced by your ideal customer and know the exact solution to solve their problem

If you have all these then go ahead to market yourself shamelessly because people are waiting to pay you😊

Now, I'll love to hear from you reading this
