The legacy our president said he was going to continue is gradually coming to reality.

Just imagine, not up to a month in office everything is sky-rocketing, it seems the past administration was lenient with it's masses.

No wonder before PMB left office he said we will miss him and i believe some persons are already missing him.

Petrol marketers are predicting 700/liter in July, custom duties just increased with over 35% over night, prove of vehicle ownership has surfaced, Cost of living is a no go area Is this not a case of government of itself, by itself and for itself? When the citizens are not being considered before making major decisions know that the government has an interior motive.

Brace yourselves my compatriots as the law of gravitational force will take it's cause.

LAGBAJA UNMASKED

Bisade Ologunde is a Nigerian Afrobeat musician, singer, songwriter, and percussionist. Born in Lagos. 1960, widely known as Lagbaja for his signature use of a mask that covers his identity. He adopted the name Lagbaja meaning "anonymous" or faceless in Yoruba. The name is Lagbaja reflected the style and choice of his stage attire - a slitted textile and rubber mask. So that the artist represented the common man, in keeping with the carnival tradition of the Yoruba people.

His music is a product of various influences ranging from traditional Yoruba music to jazz. Often his music is purely instrumental an interplay between traditional Yoruba percussion, drums, chants, and Western instruments, especially the saxophone. When there are lyrics, they are primarily singing in Yoruba, English, or a blend of the two.

In March 1997 Lagbaja established his club, Motherland at Opebi in the heart of Ikeja Lagos. Motherlan's design was influenced by the traditional African town or village square where people gather under the moonlight for ceremonies and artistic events.

The place had a serene gorge of beautiful trees and marges traditional Africa with the contemporary, creating the ambiance of the countryside in an urban city. Lagbaja always performs at the motherland every last Friday of the month to a full house of faithful and sometimes brings on guest artist and comedians to showcase their trade.

His songs entertain and also talk about social reform, and they include, Coolu Temper, 200 million mumu, Paradise, Konko Below, and Omo Jayejaye just to mention a few.

Lagbaja has class and has emerged at the forefront of contemporary African music, rich in the traditions of the continent while cosmopolitan in attitude and style.

I noticed some people are happy about the Student Loan

Some even said "Tinubu can continue, he is taking hard decisions".

For that reason, I have decided to break down the smokescreen called Student Loan

It's just an attempt to remove "Education Subsidy" without causing an uproar.

Now let's dive in:

Who qualifies for the Student Loan:

The simple answer is: NOBODY.

It's almost impossible for you to qualify for the Student Loan and here is why

1. An applicants or his parents must provide tax clearance: This is not totally bad till you see number 2.

2. The Applicants or his parents must be earning total income less than a year. Now slow down and so the maths

To earn a year means that the husband and wife are earning less than #41,000 a month. That is #20,000 each

While minimum wage is #30,000

Which means if your both parents are earning, you are automatically disqualified because they are either earning more than #41,000 or they do not pay tax because you cannot pay tax on salary below minimum wage

3. Now here is the high jump of the Act: These 2 people earning less than #50,000 will now have to provide a DIRECTOR IN CIVIL SERVICE and a LAWYER OF 10YEARS IN SERVICE as Guarantor

Take into consideration, yourself doing good for your self, do you know DIRECTOR in Civil Service?

But that is not the worst part

4. The Director and Lawyer has to surety that if you default, they will pay the loan

Do you know what means, NO DIRECTOR WILL TAKE SUCH SURETY.

But here is the worst part

5. After you meet all these requirements, will you get the loan? NO!

The act said "Loan will be given when funds are available. In other terms, you are still at the mercy of the system"

In summary:

If you add your father and mother's income monthly, it must not be more than #41,000 a month or #500,000 a year

Your father and mother must look for a Director in Civil Service to Surety your loan

The Director will send his Payslip document to the Bank saying that if you fail to pay, he will pay. Who will do this one for you?

Did I tell you that the Bank MD will be the one to give approval? Bank MD !

Did I also tell you that if you don't start repaying after 2years of graduation, you will go to jail 😩

Many graduate have not even gone to NYSC in 2years after graduation

The worst part now is: School Fees will go up above the loan amount because Federal Government has announced that they cannot continue to fund University

So if you are reading this, you are not qualified for the Loan.

Uromi Youth Alliance has kick start the campaign against drugs abuse in Esan North East LGA Uromi Edo State.

The youths of Esan North East, Uromi has taken a task upon themselves to make sure the commercial hub of Edo Central (ESAN) is totally free from drug sellers and consumers. So many of the dealers were apprehended earlier today and subsequently handed over to the police for further investigation

Earlier last month, a campaign was lunched TAGGED SAY NO TO DRUGS and the youths under the name of UROMI YOUTH ALLIANCE brought to the public notice how the use of hard drugs has damaged so many youths in the locality prompting this needed action.

Please let us join hands together to eradicate this evil that has eaten deep into the lives of our youths.

With this eradication crime will also reduce because most of these criminal acts are being planned and carried out mostly under the influence of these hards.

*Breaking news: Igueben train station kidnap: Obaseki visits 12 rescued kidnap victims, hails crack operations team*

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has visited 12 rescued kidnapped victims, who were abducted from the Igueben Train Station in Edo State, assuring that government will leave no stone unturned in securing the release of the 2 remaining hostages.

The governor visited the rescued victims at the Police Cottage Hospital in GRA, Benin City, where they had been taken for tests and rehabilitation after the rescue operation.

The governor hailed the crack team made up of various security agencies in the state, hunters and members of the Edo State Security Network, noting that their gallantry and tactfulness proved instrumental to the success recorded.

While 12 of the victims were rescued by the crack team, there are still two hostages being held by the abductors. However, the Police arrested some of the abductors during the operation, who are now being questioned and assisting the security team to trail their colleagues.
