I was at a bus stop this evening when I saw a very pretty lady

Suddenly I heard a sweet voice
"Hey you, what's the time please?"☺️

Proudly I looked at my wristwatch, 🙈it was then I realised my wristwatch was no longer working,🥺 and it stopped working early that morning…🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

"What's the time please??" She asked again.😳

I just have to say something
"Mmmm,☺️well, it's just that I forgot to set my wristwatch" wait let me check my phone,😉☺️☺️

So recently my wife and I have been having arguments over sugar.

After she watched a few videos from Aproko doctor about avoiding sugar, she decided not to take sugar again. She has had no issue with sugar before. Just one video scared her and she changed.

Recently She claimed that my sugar intake was too much and I needed to cut it down.

I did not argue.

She started cooking bitterleaf soup and plain vegetable soup for me to eat.

I did not argue.

Usually, I would have minerals in the fridge and fruit juice, but she stopped me from keeping any. Instead, she made zobo and sweetened it with natural fruits.

I did not argue.

The latest argument we had was about sugar for my morning tea. She emptied the Can of sugar and asked me to drink only milk. I agreed with her and accepted it for peace to reign.

Once again I did not argue.

Yesterday, I secretly went and bought sugar and hid it in my suit in the wardrobe. The plan was to be fetching it small small and be using.

Last night while watching television I felt like drinking Garri and sugar. I went to my secret hideout to fetch it, but I discovered sugar had reduced.

Sugar that was full nylon had turned half. This hide out I was sure with my life that my wife didn't know there was sugar there.

I thought it was rat that was secretly eating the sugar.

I bought another same last night against this morning. So I can use it for church.

I hid it in another location. This time inside one of my church shoes.

When I went there this morning, after my wife served pap and Akara, I discovered sugar had become half again.

I was shocked.

Only me and my wife are in the house.

How is sugar flying and using itself?

So I went to my wife.

"Honey, it is like anytime sugar appears in this house by mistake, it turns to half o."

She looked at me.

"How do you mean? We don't use Sugar na."

"Yes, that is what is shocking me most."

"Ehen, so where did the sugar turn half?"

I looked at my wife.

She looked at me.

I didn't want to accuse her directly.

So I started complaining.

"Some people will be buying their sugar and hiding in peace. While some people will be fetching half half every time."

My wife did not respond.

I was not satisfied so I quickly snatched a scoop of pap from her plate and tested it.

"Jesusss! You bought sugar and put in your own."

My wife started laughing.

"It is your sugar na. The one you hid inside shoe."

"I thought you don't like sugar again?"

"Toh... Some people decided not to take sugar, but some people will carry it and be hiding in their shoe. Tempting some people like us who know that their husband will never change."

My mum cooked one type of soup she has never cooked one time, it was a different type of way.😂😂

I’m not a fan of okro soup but everyone likes it so much in my house.
I can't explain how she did this particular one but it was so nice.

We were all eating that evening, everyone kept complimenting my mum about the soup.

I ate it and I had no choice but to ask for more.
My brother stood up and said “This soup is so delicious, I've not seen mummy prepare it this way before. Thank you, Ma.”

I responded, “Forget it, mummy is a GÒÀT when it comes to cooking.”

I was eating white rice🍚 with stew and enjoying my drink around 4pm. A man entered the restaurant with a brief case💼. I guess he was a big politician because his dressing and pot belly portrays it.🤔

He walked and sat down as everybody looked at him👀. Suddenly a woman came to him and started cryïng 😢. The woman knelt down and told him that her children and herself want to dié of hungër since her husband diéd. This man opened the💼and gave her #500,000. The woman jumped up and left the scene in happiness😊.

I was still watching when another man entered😢😭and came to him. He knelt down and begged him that, he needed💵💰to establish his business.

To my surprise... This man brought out #10,000,000 (Ten Milliøn Naira cheque) and he gave the man.🙄
This time, I started murmüring and practicing on the lie I would blow to have my own national cake.🤗
I started cryïng seriously,😭and went to the man. Immediately I knelt down, I heard “Cut! Cut!! Cut!!!.😳
I turned and saw the director of the movie. He was just laughing at me seriously.🤣and said, “Chai Oga, nah movie we dey shoot here oo”.😳😳🙅🙆‍♀️

Have you ever thought about this?

In 100 years, like in 2124, we will all be buried with our relatives and friends.

Strangers will live in our homes we fought so hard to build, and they will own everything we have today. All our possessions will be unknown and unborn, including the car we spent a fortune on, and will probably be scrap, preferably in the hands of an unknown collector.

Our descendants will hardly know who we were, nor will they remember us. How many of us know our grandfather's father?

After we die, we will be remembered for a few more years, then we are just a portrait on someone's bookshelf, and a few years later our history, photos and deeds disappear in history's oblivion. We won't even be memories.

If we paused one day to analyze these thoughts, perhaps we would understand how ignorant and weak the dream to achieve it all really was.

If we could only think about this, surely our approaches, our thoughts would change, we would be different people.

Always having more, no time for what's really valuable in this life. I'd change all this to live and enjoy the walks I've never taken, these hugs I didn't give, these kisses for our children and our loved ones, these jokes we didn't have time for.
Those would certainly be the most beautiful moments to remember, after all they would fill our lives with joy.

And we waste it day after day with greed and intolerance.

11. 30 years is too long to sit in an office being told what to do.

13. Life's is 100% better when no one know anything about you

14. You become 10x smarter when you quit the news and put politics out of your topics, unless it is your official occupation or it benefits you positively

His full name is Mike Ejeagharibe, shortened as Mike Ejeagha. He is a renowned Igbo folklore musician with over 37 Albums and five singles to his credit. His 1960 song “Ofu nwa anaa” shot him to prominence. Ejeagha is a native of Imezi-Owa in Ezeagu LGA of Enugu state. Mike Ejeagha brought glory to Ndigbo and kept the ancient ways of our ancestors alive through his folklore music. In Igbo land, due to his trademark of telling long stories in his music, you would be told “Akụkọ Mike Ejeagha” to a long story.
