FULafia Student Emerges New Vengeh Nri Mada

A student of the Federal University of Lafia(FULafia), Krana Yohanna Kayas, has won the 2024/2025 edition of the Venge Nri Mada(Miss Mada) beauty pageant organized by the youth-wing of the Mada Development Association, MDA.

She defeated four other contestants to succeed Miss Jessica Mbechun Danladi, as Vengeh Nri Mada at the grand finale of the pageant on Wednesday January 1st, 2025 in Akwanga.

A student of Akwanga-based NACABS Polytechnic, Veronica Lama Peter has won the 2024 edition of the Miss Akwanga Beauty Pageant.

Miss Veronica defeated three(3) other contestants to emerge as Miss Akwanga for the year 2025.

The grand finale of the Pageant held at Youth Centre, Akwanga on Saturday December 28th, 2024.

Governor Sule Dissolves Cabinet, Removes SSG

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has dissolved the State Executive Council, SEC with immediate effect.

Mallam Ali Abare the Special Assistant on media to the Governor who confirmed the dissolution to N-Mirror on Friday night also said the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu, is also removed from office with immediate effect.

Hard work they say pays, That is the story of Reshammah Jonathan Thani, A young talented and hard work weight lifter from Nasarawa state, Akwanga Local government to be precise. He has exceeded all expectations and has passed a lot of hurdles in his craft.His emergency to stardom in this year 2024 strongest man in Akwanga Nasarawa state, was not his first, He won the title for the fourth Record time, Since the innuagration of the competition. He trains everyday and Night to achieve his dreams of a professional Body builder and weight lifting. He has broken all barriers to put his Name locally within his Local Government and State on the map, Reshammah is a motivation to many young boys and girls within his community as such let's make him trend till he achieve National and International feet.
Finally I call on the peoples Local Government Chairman of Akwanga Local Government His Excellency Safiyanu Isa Andaha, The Executive Governor Of Modern Nasarawa state His Excellency Engr Abdullahi Sule to support and sponsor this Raw and untapped talent for the growth and Development of sport in Nasarawa state and Nigeria at large.
