Studying this statement carefully from different angles with different perspectives. In my own opinion I've come to conclude that the statement shouldn't have been spoken out.

Both our traditional and political rulers including religion leaders deserves to be given proper respect as far as leadership position is concern.

Our traditional rulers are the closest leaders to the people, moreover they played a major role in bring peace and harmony to the society.

I see some people saying most of the dishonor our traditional rulers do have the experience at times is because of the salary, allocations and contracts given to them by govt officials, I totally disagree with that, it is not a crime for them to enjoy these benefits because they are also working for the public just like govt officials.

Moreover, our traditional rulers should also sees it as a necessity for them to given a full respect and honour to top govt leaders both current and former like Governor and their deputy, President/VP and others. While top govt leaders should reciprocate via acknowledgement and proper honour.

But till, with all due respect Baba should pls tender an apology as a sense of honour to Yoruba tradition and culture.
