Defense of the Faith
Introduction
Defense of the Faith is designed to give Bible reasons for believing a certain thing about a doctrine and specific reasons for not believing the contrary views on the particular doctrine. In the days of apostasy, we have responsibility to stand up for the Word of God as commanded in the Book of 1 Peter 3:15, and be ready to explain why we believe what we believe.
It is sad that in Christianity today, many Christians are just parroting what their pastors told them to say and not what the Bible says. Therefore, we must get our doctrine from the Bible and Bible alone. I thank the Lord that I started attending a Bible believing church when I was in my teenage years, and I was started preaching from my teenage years, but still I will go home every Sunday after preaching to study carefully we have heard during the preaching just like the Berean Christians in the Book of Acts. Many young people or let me say, many Christians do not have this golden opportunity that I had to listened to undiluted doctrine from the Bible, therefore I have taken it upon myself to stand in the gap and help new generation of Christian who does not have the opportunity that I had in my teenage years. For one to be ready to give an answer to every man that asks of the hope that is in him with meekness and fear, he must be ready by an intelligent and diligent study of the great doctrines of the Bible. Since we are fighting, “the good fight of FAITH,” we need to fight lawfully, with good counsel, according to the scriptures. Jude3
