The Federal government has called the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) demands to call off the strike as ridiculous. Recall that ASUU said it would end the strike action after its home-grown University Transparency and Accountability Solution (UTAS) has passed the federal government's integrity test. A mob has caught a man and woman after they kidnapped a little boy from his home and sold him for N920,000 in Anambra state. Upon interrogation, the male suspect disclosed he was paid 400,000 Naira to kidnap the child from his home and hand him over to the female suspect, who in turn sold the child. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello, has ordered arrest and prosecution of looters who broke into the FCT warehouse in Gwagwalada Area Council and made away with food items. Bello gave the order during an emergency security meeting with leaders of various security agencies in the city, on Monday in Abuja.
