Information reaching me is that a student of Federal University, Oye-Ekiti has been reported to have taken committed su***de in the early hours of today 14-03-2023 in one of FUOYE's stalite campuses.

The student was said to have taken sniper pesticide, a DDVP, 2, 2-Dichlorovinyl dimethyl phosphate compound which was found beside her lifeless body and as the reasons for her dastardly act is unknown but many has suggested that it might have arised from depressional thoughts or a failed relationship.

Sniper, has unfortunately, become a tool of choice for students contemplating su***de. Recall that earlier this year, a student of yabatech, lagos was also said to have ended it a by taking sniper.

As students, it is not possible to be without one issue or the other even as the current Nigerian educational system is nothing to write about however I urge you all to shun this act as it is detrimental to your well-being as a person . Regardless of whatever issues you're facing su***de is not the option. You can always reach out to well experienced people.
