The day we will die nobody knows.

The day we die our families and friends we eat no matter who we are.

After placing us in our graves no matter how important we are our families we go back home.

Why should we now allow anyone to push us to sin when we will be left alone to answer for our deeds?

“Whoever has offended you and then apologised, humility obligates that you accept his apology whether it is truthful or not, and that you leave his secret thoughts to Allāh.

The sign of generosity and humility is that if you notice a defect in his apology, you do not address it nor hold him against it.”

Beneficial Knowledge:
Fudayl bin Iyāad said: “I learned patience from a small boy. On my way to the Masjid one day, I came across a woman beating her son at home. As he was yelling and screaming, he managed to open the door and flee. So his mother locked the door on him.

When I returned from the Masjid, I found the boy after having cried and wept sleeping at the door of his home longing for his mother. So his mother’s heart softened and she opened the door for him.”

Upon witnessing that, Fudayl bin Iyād cried until his beard became wet with tears, and then he said “SubhānAllāh! If only the servant was to be patient at the door of Allāh, Allāh would surely open it!”

Translation: Men are the protectors and maintainers of women.

This means: Men spend on women and protect them, and also that they (men) are the rulers and governors, and the ones who go on military campaigns, and none of these are the role of women.

Never Give Up Repenting

‎ ‏قيل للحسن البصري:
‎ يا أبا سعيد
‎ الرجل
‎ يذنب ثم

‎ يذنب ثم

‎ يتوب
‎ حتى متى
‎ قال: ما أعلم هذا إلا أخلاق المؤمنين

It was said to Ḥasan al-Baṣrī: “O Abā Sa'īd a man sins then repents, then sins, then repents, then sins, then repents, until when?” He (Ḥasan) said: “I do not know except that this is the attitude of a believer.”

Conversely, he would be rewarded for him screening his brother and also rewarded for forbidding evil. As for today, whenever a man sees what he dislikes he angers his brother and unveils his screen.”

وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُۥ﴿

Translation: "And whosoever believes in Allāh, He guides his heart.."

Ibn Abbās said: "Allāh will guide his heart to certainty. Therefore, he will know that what reached him would not have missed him and what has missed him would not have reached him."

It was said to Ḥasan al-Baṣrī: “O Abū Sa’īd who of all people will be screaming the most on the Day of Judgement (from Torment of Allāh)?”

He replied: “A man who has been blessed with a bounty (from Allāh) and he uses it to disobey Allāh.”

‏إذا أحب الرجل أخاه، فليخبره أنه يحبه‏"

Abu Karimah Al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When a man loves his brother (for Allah's sake) let him tell him that he loves him".

Dealing With Short Tempered People!

Ibn al-Jawzī said: “When your companion becomes angry and says something that is unwarranted, you should not take it too hard. His situation is that of a drunken person who is not aware of what is taking place. Instead, be patient, even if it means only for a little while. If you reciprocate his words with harsh words of your own, you become like the sane person who seeks revenge on a madman, or the conscious person who seeks retribution from an unconscious one. Look at him with a merciful eye and pity him for his actions.”
