“I Cheated On My Wife To Make Her Lose Weight” – Kenyan Man Says

The man, while speaking to a televangelist whom he and his wife had visited for counseling after she found out he cheated on her, said he did it to make her lose weight.

According to him, when he first met his wife in 2017, she was slim, which was one of the reasons he loved her, but after they got married in 2020, she started to gain weight and became less attractive in his eyes.

He said he signed her up at a gym in a bid to make her return to her former figure, but it didn’t work.

He recalled once asking her the reason for her sudden weight gain, and she told him it was because she had peace of mind.

So he decided to start having extra marital affairs to take away her peace so she could lose weight.

He said when she got to know of his affairs with other women, it gave her sleepless nights and she couldn’t eat regularly, which made her lose weight.

Speaking during the interview, he expressed his happiness that his strategy was successful, noting that his wife has regained the slim figure she had before they were married.

Dr. Uju Anya is a university professor and researcher in applied linguistics, critical sociolinguistics, and critical discourse studies primarily examining race, gender, sexual, and social class identities in new language learning through the experiences of African American students.

Prof. Uju has been on the news lately following her controversial tweet about Queen Elizabeth II, what alot of people do not know is that, she's gay, and she's proud of her sexuality

There was massive reaction on social media, as she accussed the late Queen of genocide and harsh treatment mounted on her Forefathers, who were sold as slaves to British masters.

Despite her shortcomings, Nigerians went all out for her defense, especially the Igbo speaking part, she felt loved in diaspora

She tweeted on Tuesday morning, September 13,

Kanu VS Nigerian Govt. - Chidi Cali

As the Nigerian Govt agreed in Court today their Kidnapping Nnamdi Kanu and engaging in Illegal rendition, it is imperative for FGN to release the Pro-Biafran group leader unconditionally.

The prosecutors ignorantly reminding the court that the FGN till date has amended seven times their case against the IPOB leader, exposes their incompetence and lack of prosecutable evidence to convict Kanu.

The case today should have been on the criminal kidnapping of Nnamdi Kanu by Govt agents, not the other way round.

Buhari should do the needful and release Nnamdi Kanu immediately.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that the agency has confirmed cases of monkeypox in the country in 30 states with 277 cases.
The suspected cases between January 1 to August 28 of this year stand at 704.
The Centre further reported that the virus had spread to 30 states, adding that six deaths had been recorded in six states.
According to part of the NCDC report, “100 new suspected cases reported in Epi week 34, 2022 (22nd to 28th August 2022) from twenty-one (21) states – Lagos (17), Abia (16), Imo (14), Delta (7), Ondo (7), Bayelsa (5), Gombe (5), Rivers (4), Benue (3), Ebonyi (3) , Edo (3), Plateau (3), FCT (2), Katsina (2), Osun (2), Taraba (2), Anambra (1), Enugu (1), Kano (1), and Oyo (1).
“Of the one hundred (100) suspected cases, thirty-six (36) new confirmed cases have been recorded in Epi week 34 from fourteen (14) states – Lagos (7), Abia (6), Bayelsa (5), Edo (3), Ondo (3), Delta (2), Ebonyi (2), Rivers (2), Anambra (1), Benue (1), Gombe (1), Imo (1), Katsina (1) and Oyo (1).
“From 1st January to 28th August 2022, Nigeria has recorded 704 suspected cases with 277 confirmed cases (186 male, 91 female) from thirty (30) states – Lagos (49), Ondo (22), Bayelsa (19), Rivers (18), Edo (16), Adamawa (15), Abia (15), Delta (14), FCT (11), Imo (11), Anambra (10),Nasarawa (9), Ogun (7), Plateau (6), Taraba (5), Kwara (5), Kano (5), Gombe (5), Ebonyi (5), Oyo (5), Katsina (5), Cross River (4), Benue (4), Borno (3), Kogi (3), Akwa Ibom (2), Niger (1), Bauchi (1), Osun (1) and Kaduna (1).
“Six (6) associated deaths were recorded from 6 states in 2022 – Delta (1), Lagos (1), Ondo (1) and Akwa Ibom (1), Kogi (1) and Taraba (1) CFR 2.16%.
“Overall, since the re-emergence of monkeypox in September 2017, 1216 suspected cases have been reported from 35 states in the country. Of these, 503 (41%) confirmed cases were recorded with Male representing 66% (334) from 32 states – Lagos (79), Rivers (70), Bayelsa (62), Delta (43), Edo (26), Ondo (22), Imo (19), Cross River (18), Abia (18), FCT (17), Adamawa (15), Anambra (12), Nasarawa (11), Oyo (11), Plateau (9), Akwa Ibom (9), Ogun (8), Benue (6), Ebonyi (6), Kano (5), Taraba (5), Kwara (5), Gombe (5), Katsina (5), Enugu (4), Borno (3), Kogi (3), Ekiti (2), Niger (2), Bauchi (1), Osun (1) and Kaduna (1).
“Since the re-emergence of the outbreak in 2017, five states ( Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara, Jigawa, Yobe) are yet to record a confirmed case, while two (2) states (Jigawa & Yobe) are yet to report a suspect case. In 2022, Seven (7)states are yet to record a confirmed case (Enugu, Ekiti, Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara, Yobe and Jigawa ) with Jigawa and Yobe yet to report a suspected case.
“Fourteen (14) deaths have been recorded since September 2017 (CFR= 2.8%) in eleven states – Lagos (3), Edo (2), Imo (1), Cross River (1), FCT (1), Rivers (1), Ondo (1) Delta (1), Akwa Ibom (1), Taraba (1) and Kogi (1).”

A TIMED LIFE

Yesterday being September 11, 2022 (according to the Gregorian calender), the people of Ethiopia entered a new year.

Happy new year to the Ethiopians.

So you see, while the rest of the world is looking forward to ending 2022, the people of Ethiopia just started their 2015.

Are they lagging behind in time? No!
Are we faster than them? No!

We are all living life the same way, just that we chose how to measure our existence and time differently. It doesn't make anyone better than the other.

A lot of us have allowed ourselves to be tensioned by how old we are and we're yet to "achieve" this and that and then end up making mistakes we'll forever regret.

It's good to be conscious of time, it's great to to be aware of your age. But instead of getting tensed about how old you're becoming, and making comparisons with your mates, why not focus on being a better version of you?

Focus on the right thing and you'll know how.

The image attached below is same time and location but at different seasons. So it is to man as well. Times and seasons will happen. When it gets to your turn, age won't be a thing; as long as you have not be whiling away time on irrelevancies.

Lastly, Prince Charles of Britain just got his first job at the age of 73, as king.

A timed life is boring and can be frustrating too, especially when there are lapses.

A 26-Year-old boy identified as Olaolu Falowo confess to murder, after he was arrested with human parts found in his house, 2 limbs, 2 legs and 2 arms, which was alledgedly removed from his victim's body.

According to reports; The ugly incident happened in Kuseru Villiage, Odigbo Council Area of Ondo State. While a human skull in a sack was recovered from his father's house

A police investigation revealed that the victim, who was a farmer, was murdered and his body parts removed by the suspected ritualist and his father.

Falowo, who confessed to the crime while being paraded at the state police command on Tuesday, September 6, said he k!lled the victim, who he claimed was a lunatic, to “reduce his pains.”

According to him, the victim was mentally unstable, sick and about to d!e in the forest.

“The victim is a sick madman. I k!lled him to reduce his pain and also took part of his body to use it for sacrifice.” He said.

A family member of the deceased, however, refuted the suspect’s claim, saying that his brother was hale and hearty before he was gruesomely mur.dered by the suspect on his farm.
