It is with grave dismay and deepest sense of responsibility that the attention of the University Management has been drawn to the above-mentiioned attempted/deliberate misinformation to the Academic Staff of the University, purportedly written and signed by one Dr. Nduagubam I. C. as the Ag Secretary of ASUU-ESUT, which Union is currently legally suspended by the National ASUU Body.
2). Following from the above illogicality aforementioned thereof, the first reasonably elementary task that should have confronted the leadership of the local Academic Staff Union in the University, is to embark on a legal/due process of how best to return to the National ASUU, rather than it's present hasty illegal action which is definitely blinded by some selfish hidden desperation- agenda which are only aimed at nothing but to truncate the present smooth running of University Academic Calendar of Events, including but not limited to the ongoing (2020/2021)Second Semester Examinations. It should equally be mentioned here too that most state universities have refused to join the present national ASUU strike.

3). It is also worthy of note here that our current patriotic Academic Staff, students and indeed, the entire University Community, have become wiser than before. This is historically so, bearing in mind how some of such Union leaders had in the past, employed and used their advantaged positions as instruments of blackmailing, intimidations, harassment etc. against the Management just to attain their private selfish motives.
4). In summary and by this Communication thereof, all our respected academic staff and indeed, the entire University Community, are hereby strongly implored to roundly refuse, ab-jure, reject, abhore, withdraw, and treat with utter dismay/contempt, the aforesaid nefarious/notorious activities of THOSE DISGRUNTLED ENEMIES OF PROGRESS who are only hell-bent on destroying the smooth running of the University at all costs.
5). Please, majorly, this Communication should be regarded and treated as a Clarion call on all Patriots in the University to rise up in unison against the present evil and lawless plots of those few enemies of progress within the University today !!.
6).Please be reminded that the ongoing 2nd semester exams will proceed seamlessly as scheduled, with the exception of the earlier postponed ones.
7). Don't also forget that to be forewarned is to be forearmed as a stitch in time saves nine!!! The enforcement Agents will be there in numbers to maintain law and order and to protect lives and properties without let...

GOVERNOR UGWUANYI HAS GIVEN HOPE TO THE STUDENTS THROUGH ENUGU SME, SAYS UNN STUDENTS.

It was an exhilarating event on Thursday at University of Nigeria Nsukka during the sensitization tour to the School by Enugu SME led by Hon Chilo Offiah.

The event which was organised to enlighten the lion's and Lionesses about various programs under the Agency and how they can make proper use of the opportunities herein, had over 5000 students in attendance.

Information gathered by DailySun posited that, Students who own small business in the School were also given a thorough run down of the activities of Enugu SME as well as the processes involved in tapping from the opportunities it has presented.

In a interview with Chioma Okeke, a 300level student in the department of Economics, she asserts as follows "I am filled with joy about what just happened in our School"

"We used to think that Enugu SME is not real Until today where lots of students were empowered intellectually"

"The climax of it was the testimonies given by students from other schools, i am very happy and promise to inform uninformed students about the activities of Hon Chilo Offiah's led Enugu SME"

In another interview, Hillary Nwankwo a 200 level student in the department of Mass communication, extolled Enugu SME being a source of Hope, to the hopeless students in the School.
He also enjoined Enugu students across the state to utilise the opportunities in Enugu SME effectively.

"I can highly overwhelmed by what i witnessed today, it is like a dream because, i have this business idea that i once TESTED and it worked but stopped because of funds that are even below ₦100,000,but now, i am filled with great anticipation of a better me. "

JUBILATION IN COAL CITY UNIVERSITY AS ENUGU SME STORMS THE SCHOOL AND EMPOWERS HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS .

Following the ongoing sensitization program mapped by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, through the Enugu SME centre headed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Small and Medium scale Enterprises *Hon. Arinze Chilo Offiah to the indigenous students of the state as a way of reaching out to them in order to benefit the dividends of his governance

Representatives of the Agency led by Hon. Arinze Chilo Offiah,on Thursday, the 27th May, 2021 stormed Coal City University (CCU) along Enugu Abakaliki Road for their "sensitization tour" which is a training that is channeled on equipping young students in various tertiary Institutions across the State, with at least one skill before graduating from school.

Declaring the event open, the Dean of Student affairs, Mr ifeanyi Onyia commended Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for such a great initiative and charged his students to utilize succinctly, the opportunity presented to them by the State Government.

"Honestly Speaking i thought this type of initiative exists only abroad or the developed African countries where Government reaches out to all and sundries with programs of economic, intellectual and physical empowerment like this"

"This is a sign of Good Governance and our School is happy to be part of it"

" As you can see, our students are eager to make adequate use of this golden opportunity because most of them are Super intelligent and industrious"

The tour, which had over 400 students sensitized, was eulogised by the students through their leader by name.

FATHER MBAKA RESURFACES TO RECALL ENUGU FROM BOILING
Tension has relaxed in Enugu as the controversial Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka whose whereabouts had been declared unknown resurfaced some hours ago.
But before his reappearance, the Catholic Bishop's court in Enugu which is the residence of the bishop had been reported torched as crowds got bloated by the minute of people in protest march in the streets of the city.
Mbaka was reportedly invited by the bishop yesterday morning and the news that filled the social media space was that he would not be reached on phone, a position the masses and his followers especially concluded meant that the bishop hand handed him over the security agencies of state.
Mbaka has been mired in controversy with the presidency over the thoughtless reaction of Garba Shehu to the cleric's call that President Muhammadu Buhari should resign or be impeached
As the crowds got more agitated and marching towards the landmark Holy Ghost Catholic head office in the city, Mbaka was suddenly announced to have been found.
To deescalate tension, the state government and the church agreed that Mbaka should take a tour of the city in an open roof vehicle to assure his followers that he wasn't arrested or came to any harm
