The glory of Christianity is seen when you and all your relatives are free from the wickedness that is rampaging this world. So let's work on that.

THE BREAD OF LIFE SERIES (A daily morning devotional)
Saturday June 11, 2022
Opening prayer
O LORD God our Father, I thank you for today's life. Thank you for the sleeping rest given to me throughout the night. O Father of mercy, thank you for preserving me and my family all through the week. All glory and adoration be unto you in Jesus name amen.

Scripture reading: John 10:11
[11]I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. (KJV)

Theme: JESUS THE GOOD SHEPHERD

Everyone probably knows that phrase, "The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1 KJV) As a Christian, You have Jesus Christ as the good Shepherd taking care of you. This truth revealed to Christians have not really dawned on them. This morning is another chance to refresh your mind.

Jesus Christ is not just a shepherd, but a good Shepherd. He is ready even right now to give his life to keep you alive. That's why he uses the present tense 'giveth' in his saying as we read in that scripture above. You have to come to terms with this revelation and begin to trust our Lord.

This scripture reads, "To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. (John 10:3 KJV) The Porter here is the Spirit of God of whom a measure of him is put into you by divine operation. Jesus Christ calls Christians by name and they hear. Sincerely if you are not hearing your name from his voice, give more attention, and be quiet in your mind, then will you start to experience what am telling you now. When you hear his voice call your name, you are ready for his leading. Every Christian need to get this training as soon as possible. These days are very evil and perilous, many Christians are walking into troubles. Evil workers are desperately making the world grossly dark and wicked. The situation is getting worst, and not worse. Because now, so many Christians are attacking fellow Christians flagrantly. Before, the attacks used to be in their prayer session, but now it is open. Let us train to be led by the Spirit of the Lord. He will lead us to circumvent all the troubles of nowadays. Peace to you, enjoy your bread.

THE BREAD OF LIFE SERIES (A daily morning devotional)

Opening prayer
O LORD God our Father, I thank you for today's life. Thank you for the sleeping rest given to me throughout the night. O Father help me to prepare for work as I worship you now, in Jesus name amen.

Scripture reading: John 1:37-38
[37]And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
[38]Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? (KJV)

Theme: FOLLOW JESUS FOR WHAT!

A lot of people follow Jesus after hearing much about his exploits. A scripture reads, "And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan." (Matthew 4:25 KJV) Obviously some people see Jesus as a powerful man to follow. Some see him as a great saviour to follow. Some see him as a true celebrity to follow. What is your take?

This two disciples of John the Baptist followed Jesus, and our Lord turned around and asked them a question. "What seek ye?" Their answer was a question. "Where dwellest thou?" You that are following Jesus through the sermons you hear, what are you seeking.

This morning our Lord is sharing a counsel with us. He says by this scripture, "If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour." (KJV)
I want to encourage you to be following Jesus in order to serve with him. Our Lord is alive, and is still going about doing good to people who are afflicted and troubled. Let's follow him to serve more dividends of that great salvation of our God to the world.

The world today is under gross darkness. (Isaiah 60:2) The people are walking in the darkness. And so many people are becoming hopeless by the day, and are turning over to wickedness. Jesus needs us that follow him, to serve with him. And he revealed something very important, by saying that, his servants shall be with him and God shall honour them. Isn't that a good news? The conclusion of this matter is, be among the followers of Jesus Christ whom God honours. Enjoy your breakfast.

Scripture reading: Isaiah 2:2-3
[2]And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
[3]And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. (KJV)

Theme: WHY WE SHOULD GO TO CHURCH FELLOWSHIP

Many Christians are casual about church fellowship. Some say they are tired, some say, they have no offering to give. Different people have different reasons.

However I like us to note some very important reasons why we must go to church fellowship. First the word of God comes forth to the people of God. Whether the preacher likes it or not during the hour of sermon, God will use the occasion to address someone on an important issue, and that someone may be you. Our scripture reading says it. Secondly, some pastors might teach you to understand God's way for your life in this world. Importantly during church fellowship, CHRIST Jesus the everliving high priest of God will sprinkle his blood on all present in the fellowship to put away your sins. This is very crucial. For holiness is very important in the life of every Christian. It makes a highway for God to intervene in our matters of concern. When Satan comes, holiness can fence you for safety. Jesus once said, "Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. (John 14:30 KJV) So let us go to church fellowship this morning and worship our God.

The LAMB'S SUPPER SERIES (A daily evening devotional)

Opening prayer
O LORD my Father, Thank you for the Lamb's supper. Your word of truth really transforming my soul. I am glad to receive from the Lord. Thank you heavenly Father in Jesus name amen.

Scripture reading: Exodus 31:16-17
[16]Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
[17]It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. (KJV)

Theme: REST HELPS THE SOUL TO REFRESH

God the Creator of our souls tells us how important rest is to our souls. Himself as God rested in order to refresh, our scripture reading testifies to that. And so every Christian should value rest and endeavor to take it weekly as God commands.

These days, people are aging fast and they are trying out different chemicals in form of drugs and ointments to reverse their aging process. And many have contracted cancer disease, and ended up loosing their lives. Many Christians are victims because of emulation.

For us who look unto CHRIST, God has given us the secret. When you obey and keep his word, Jesus Christ will nourish you with grace and glory which ultimately reverse aging process. Learn to rest your soul and also your body. They are two different things. And they are both necessary for your well-being. Enjoy your supper and rest well in Jesus name Amen.

O LORD God our Father, I thank you for today's life. Thank you for the sleeping rest. May your grace and glory impact on my work forever. And now, Father accept my worship and adoration in Jesus name amen.

Scripture reading: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
[9]Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
[10]For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
[11]Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
[12]And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (KJV)

Theme: LIVE WITH OTHERS AT ALL TIMES

Our scripture reading this morning gives us the benefits of living with others. The sufferings of many Christians are not abating because of loneliness. Their adversaries attacked them first to separate them from their cohorts. And now alone, such victims are held captive with various sufferings until death or deliverance comes.

If you are a Christian suffering, be it known to you that what I have just spoken of, is happening to you without you knowing it. We are designed by our Creator to keep a godly cohort around us all the time. You have heard this scripture that reads, "And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."(Genesis 2:18 KJV) To the first man, God promised to assist, and he did. Till today God is still assisting anyone, male or female to get a suitable cohort to live with.

The summary is this, at all times, live with others. At your home front, a Christian man connect well with your wife and children. This will make you live long and well. At your career front, connect well with a team. Do not allow your soul to be isolated or separated from your godly cohort. And if it has happened, work at getting back into your cohort. God will assist as he promised and your sufferings will abate. As for me, I am going to implement this counsel. What about you? Enjoy your bread, more grace to you.

[2]And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. (KJV)

Theme: TAKE ACTION FROM REVELATION

Our scripture reading this morning gives us the testimony of the apostle. Paul testified here that he went up by an inspiration from revelation. He received the revelation from the Spirit of Christ, and he took action from it. This step of faith enhanced his work as an apostle of Christ to the Church among the Gentiles.

Revelations from the Spirit of CHRIST is his language to Christians. That's why Christians depend a lot on revelations. I like to add here, that Christians can ask question to the Spirit of Christ. Confidently do so and expect his answer. This is one thing most Christians do not try. Some say, "Who are you to question God?" But they forgot that Jesus Christ was questioned, and he never took offence at anybody. Likewise the Spirit of Christ can also be questioned. It is no offence, only do so in meekness.(Read Psalm 25:9) Ask the Spirit of Christ questions and work from the revelations he shall give to you. It is time we Christians start a deliberate involvement of God in our daily work for a profitable life. More grace and truth multiply unto you in Jesus name Amen.

Opening prayer
O LORD my Father I come with joy for this meeting. Thanks for all you have prepared for me. I praise you marvelously for your goodness and mercy that follow me in Jesus name amen.

Text: Revelation 19:9
[9]And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Theme: The Lamb's Supper

Welcome to the Lamb's Supper series (A daily evening devotional with the Lord Jesus Christ) The Lamb's supper is a joyful occasion. It is a time of reconciliation. You have been out there in the world. Now it is evening you are back and should see that you are reunited with the Lord. And the Lord is that LAMB.

At the onset of my ministry, the Lord told me that one dwells closely with him through the occasion of his supper. The Lord says, " He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. (John 6:56 kjv)

So this evening devotional is aimed at this reunion using his words as the meat and drink. Go back to our main text. The word 'marriage' connotes the expected reunion. And that's what this project will ensure as you participate in it. This is the beginning. It will interest you and help you so much, key to it.
