"A Nation in Silence"

In a land where hope once bloomed,
Now lies the dust of dreams consumed.
Leaders rise, their pockets deep,
While the people starve, the children weep.

They rule for wealth, for family’s gain,
While the masses walk in endless pain.
Promises made but never kept,
In their mansions, the leaders slept.

The cries of the poor fall on deaf ears,
Their pleas for justice drowned in fears.
Speak your mind, you’re marked a foe,
A voice for change, the powers know.

A country where freedom’s supposed to reign,
But voices silenced, speak in vain.
We’re told that youth are leaders to be,
Yet they’re denied the right to be free.

Corruption spreads like a disease,
Kidnapping, murder—no one’s at ease.
Atrocities no longer make the news,
They’ve become the norm we must choose.

The guilty roam, their sins concealed,
While the innocent are wrongly sealed.
Those meant for jail are set to roam,
While the innocent face the unknown.

The police, once guardians of peace,
Now serve the rich, their hold won't cease.
Soldiers trained to protect the land,
Now harass the weak with an iron hand.
A country built on hope and pride,
Now lost in the tide of lies, they hide.
Where is the voice of the common man?
Buried beneath a corrupted plan.

But still, in the heart of every soul,
A fire burns, a dream, a goal.
For though they silence the voice of truth,
The people will rise, reclaim their youth.

Nigeria, the land that yearns for light,
Will find its way through this endless night.
For though the rulers may reign for now,
The power of the people will break the vow.
*We’ve been hearing, “Nigeria will be great again.”*
*But the question remains…*
*Will Nigeria really be great again?*

Correction: She, Salome Eleojo Adaidu, was not his girlfriend, she entered wrong keke - Family

All the major news outlets are reporting that the lady behe@ded in Abuja by Oluwatimileyin Ajayi from Kabba, Kogi State, a popular Gospel Artist, was the victim’s boyfriend. She was not. She entered the wrong keke and was abducted by him and his cohorts and murdered in the most brutal manner. Timileyin Ajayi lied and claimed she was his girlfriend and it is not true according to her family.

The victim, Salome Eleojo Adaidu, an Igala lady, who Graduated from the Department of library and information sciences in Kogi State University Anyigba in 2023 was buried yesterday.

The perp, Timileyin Ajayi, has been arrested and detained.

💔 I got the shock of my life as we apprehend a Yah*oo ritual with human head (his girlfriend) inside a nylon close to our church as we were holding service.

I thought I just used to watch things like this until I experienced one "Live" today.

And this guy said the remaining body of the girl is still in his house.

NNAJI, UGONNA JULIET (NNEOMA)
Nnaji Ugonna juliet, 19 years of age, passed on Wednesday, July 17th, at Stream of Life Hospital Owerri North LGA Imo State.
NNEOMA was born June 19th, 2004, in Ogbeke Obibiezena to the family of Sir&Lady George Amanze Nnaji. She was the youngest of six children.

Ugonna was a caring, extraordinarily loving, remarkable, and intelligent person.The passing to eternal of this trail Blazer on July 17, 2024 was just God's call at the age of 19 years . NNEOMA nnem loved life and fought the brief illness with every energy she had. But God Almighty had a different plan for her.

NNEOMA attended to Good Foundation Nursery and primary school (First School Leaving Certificate). She attended to Naze Secondary school. (Senior school Certificate).NNEOMA was a Second year student of Federal Polytechnic Nekede in the department of science laboratory technology (SLT).

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear daughter/sister/friend/ course-mate NNEOMA, her passing, Love kindness will be greatly missed.may God Almighty who called her home at this time forgive her sins and grant her eternal rest, and grant we the family, family & course-mate the fortitude to bear her very sad irreplaceable loss.

Thanks to everyone who contributed in one way or the other, may God Almighty bless and protect you 🙏

This couple met & fell in love in the university, Gerald, didn't have much but that didn't change Nora's feelings for him. She always supported & showed love & care despite that rich guys were as well coming for her. When an opportunity came up for Gerald to travel & work in Canada. Nora decided to drop out of school that year, so she could support her boyfriend with her school fees coz he didn't have enough finances to pay for his flight

For 6yrs, Gerald & Nora have been keeping in touch. Still Loving each other like they just met. Unfortunately Nora had an a,c!dent that got her b,edr!dden, Gerald got the news from a very close friend of Nora, though Nora had been trying so hard to keep it away from him. Just then Gerald decided to travel back to the country so he could see things for himself, When the two finally saw each other Nora couldn't hold her tears, they both cried & just then Gerald, took out a ring & proposed to her while on her sick bed.. As we speak this two are currently happily married with a son & are based in the U. S.

How many men can do this, It only takes true love. Love is indeed a beautiful thing 🥰❤️
