Why do you need a Savior?
God has established a number of laws for humanity. For example, think of the Ten Commandments. These are not ten pieces of advice. These are ten commandments. What happens if you don’t keep these commandments? The Bible is clear about this, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” (Galatians 3:10)

Who is this for? It is for all of us, because no one succeeds in keeping the law of God. This is what Galatians 3:11 says, “no one is justified before God by the law.” We are all guilty. We do not keep the law. We are cursed.

The modern view of life
It is shocking to say this because it goes directly against the modern sense of life. This modern view of life could be summed up as follows: there is no truth, there is no standard, and there is no judge. Everything is relative, everybody has his or her own truth. And if there is no absolute truth, then there is no standard that you should comply with. And if there is no standard you should comply with, then you cannot be judged on anything, and the idea of a judge is absurd. This results in unlimited personal freedom. This is how “modern man” views life.

However, the Bible has a different world view. God created the world, and therefore there is an objective reality and absolute truth. There is also a standard, because God told us how to live. There is also a judge. God is the judge who determines whether we have met His standard. And here is the verdict for all of us: we don’t make it. No one is righteous before God. We are condemned. That is what the Bible says in Galatians 3:10-11. Do you believe the modern sense of life or do you believe what the Bible says?

You need Jesus Christ as your Savior
If you believe the Bible, you understand why the Lord Jesus had to be crucified. Galatians 3:13 says “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us-for it is written,.

The Amissa Service for the departed wife of the number two figure of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, Most Superior Evangelist Taiwo Oshin, would hold on Saturday, 9th September, 2023.

Mother Celestial Abike Hannah Oshin, it would be recalled, slept in the Lord on Saturday, 8th July, 2023, and was buried on Friday, 28th July, 2023.

The venue of the Amissa Service is the Celestial Church of Christ, Losi Oba (King’s Parish), via Army Barracks, Cele Bus-Stop, Sagamu Road, Ikorodu, Lagos State. Date: Saturday, 9th September, 2023. Time: 12.00 pm.

*UNDERSTANDING OUR CELESTIAL DOCTRINES*
Topic: Reasons and Spiritual meanings why we walk barefooted in Celestial Church of Christ.... Written by Evang Gbenga Oyeleye.

Celestial church of Christ is a denomination that teaches and reveals a lot of mysteries about heaven and its Spiritual modus operandi which includes formation of an Altar, candle sticks, mode of worship, hymnal songs, ordinances amongst others. Therefore, it can only take a deep Spiritual understanding and revelation to digest things that was divinely given to us without embracing canal reasoning and scripted arguments that is derailing because they only cover the truth.
However, the truth concerning this article has been kept hidden for so long because we don't want to seek knowledge from the Holy Spirit who gave us this instructions. Rather, we have decided to embrace baseless facts from story tellers and opinionated individuals who believes that they are the sole ownership and custodian of all mysteries given to Celestial church through the pastor founder Rev pastor SBJ Oshoffa.
Meanwhile, over the years, fallacious statements has been spreading across board on the reason why we don't wear shoes in Celestial church of Christ. Some of those false stories are listed below:
1. The foot of Saint SBJ oshoffa was too big during his days and there was no sizes of shoes meant to fit him.
2. Because an angel told Moses to pull off his shoes when he encountered the glory of God in the burning bush, or during Joshua's account where he was also instructed to pull off his shoes forgetting that both of them at those occasion wore their shoes again thereafter.
3. Celestial worshippers are just imitating their pastor founder because he doesn't wear shoes.

These and many more were false stories been transferred from one generation to another and they have no iota of truth until I enquired from the Holy Spirit with references to the founder's teachings and the true meaning why we don't wear shoes as Celestial.
