" I was also posted to Enugu. So a friend of mine visited me and she came along with her boyfriend who also came along with my husband. That was how we met and it was love at first sight. I think people frown at love at first sight but it worked for us.

I fell in love with his broad shoulders. Then he was really looking very cute. I can still remember what he was wearing that day – a red shirt, long sleeves and jeans trousers. That was 37 years ago. He couldn’t even take me out because he didn’t have money as a youth corper. It was quite magnetic and that was it.

There is a 3-year age difference between us. I am older than him anyway. I was like 25 then while he was 22. It was love that really endured. I witnessed a thing like this yesterday (December 17, 2023) at Parklane New Born Unit.

We brought a day old child that requires oxygen.

But it was unfortunate that the doctor on duty told us that there is no oxygen head available, hence she will not accept the child for admission because we referred from another hospital.

She told us that the only way she can admit the baby is if we can buy oxygen head.

She has to suggest we should go to UNTH with the child as she believed that UNTH has more hospital equipment than Parklane.

I immediately contacted my brother in-law in medicine line and he sent me someone's number.

I had to call the number to know how much the oxygen head is being sold.

Luckily, someone in the hospital premises overheard me complaining and asked me what the problem was.

After explaining our ordeal to the young man, he took pity on us and took me to his unit (dialysis unit) where he got two oxygen head and took them to the New Born Unit for their use.

In getting to the New Born, the recipient doctor asked the young man where he got the oxygen head from and he answered.

I became disappointed when the doctor started asking the young that she hope that he will not be coming soon to ask for that oxygen head.

The services we received there was really heartbreaking 💔.

It was unfortunate that the baby died few hours later. 😭😭

Honestly, many people in medicine line do not deserve that noble profession.

Many studied medicine for fame, not to save lives.

Unfortunately, our governments have failed us completely.

Let me not talk about our brothers in the business of selling fake drugs.

The Street Kids on 2023 Aba Fashion Week Runway - Ugomdi Ogbonna, The Organiser

While planning the 2023 ABA fashion week street fashion festival, I decided to watch the video clips from the previous editions. While watching the video clips, I saw some children hanging around the Arena, waving and clapping for the models strutting the red carpet runway. I saw the excitement on their faces and how they admired the models, fashion designers and fashion enthusiasts at the Arena 😍. I told myself that I must have them strut the prestigious Aba Fashion Week street fashion festival Red carpet Runway if I eventually see them at the Arena in this year's edition. The street fashion started and luckily they showed up. At first, they were shy when I asked them to hit the runway but finally agreed when I motivated them with pronouncement of cash reward. Legend Okoro Azu also staged a runway catwalking competition with cash prize reward for the winner. It was a good sight to behold. It was a moment filled with so much excitement mixed with emotions 😥. I was happy I did. I felt so fulfilled.

I know the boy on Red adidas Originals shirt has been trending for somedays now and has even been invited to Lagos by my friend and Boss Chima Anyaso. God has made a way. I also heard an Igbo renowned philanthropist is also searching for one of the boys in these pictures. He would be found by God's Grace.

Most of the kids on this Red carpet Runway came to sell sachet water at the Arena, while some of them are homeless kids. They don't have any idea of what it means to live a good life. Some of them haven't seen the 4 walls of any place called school as they are always out there during school hours hustling while their mates are in school.

Gentlemen and ladies, we have started their journey of greatness by giving them sense of belonging true Aba Fashion Week platform. While expressing our unreserved gratitude to those that have indicated interest so far in taking Kingsley Joseph and the other yet to be identified boy off the street, we call on the State government and good people of Abia State to kindly look into their cases.

It's also important to note that Aba Fashion Week Organisers are not connected with any arrangement that has been made so far for any of these kids. The goal is to see these kids live their dream lives. It doesn't Matter who is in charge or not. We all need each other to survive. God bless us all.

According to story, the group of friends went out to drink and one of them excused himself to use the rest room, immediately he left the culprit put a poisonous substance in his drink but fortunately someone saw him and raised alarm immediately.

VIDEO: Pastor is forced to marry fiancée's corpse after she died when he allegedly aborted her pregnancy ''A pastor, Dr. Sucess Emeka Sunday, has reportedly confessed to killing his pregnant fiancée, Chioma, while trying to abort her pregnancy without her consent in Owerri, Imo State. Chioma and Emeka started dating about five years ago but got engaged in 2020. However, while their wedding preparations were underway she got pregnant and pastor Emeka asked her to abort it, she refused. Having failed to convince her to get rid of the pregnancy, the suspect has a church named Life Transformation Praying Ministry in Akwakuma area of Owerri invited her over to his house on February 24, 2020. According to reports, on getting there he served her a drink laced with a substance that made her become unconscious then he took her to a hospital where the doctor told him that he can't conduct an abortion on her but pastor Emeka insisted then the process of doing the abortion while the deceased remained unconscious and later began to vomit blood. He was said to have rushed her to another hospital where she died. He reportedly confessed to the crime after an autopsy revealed that her drink was laced and there was attempted abortion on her. The family of the deseased did not want to raise so much dust as a Christian family that they're so they insisted that Pastor Emeka married her corpse, he obliged and performed the necessary rites. The remains of Chioma was afterwards buried in her Hometown in Umuahia'' Anonymous.
