APC: Sen. Bwacha, Most experienced to occupy Taraba govt house in 2023- Hon. Yusuf Ahmed Gamaliya

Ahmed Yusuf Gamaliya, one of the key stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State has emphasized that the Gubernatorial candidate of the party for the 2023 general elections, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha remains the most qualified person to take over power from the ruling PDP in the state.

Gamaliya made this statement while fielding questions from journalists in Jalingo.

He said that Bwacha stands out as the most experienced candidate who had served as a state Commissioner of agriculture between 1999-2003 during the regime of the former civilian Governor, Reverend Jolly Nyame.

He added that Sen. Bwacha was also at the state House of Assembly in 1999 before moving to the federal House of Representatives from 2003-2007, and has been in the red chamber since 2011-date.

“So, that makes him different, that makes him far apart from other pretenders to the gubernatorial seat of Taraba State. So, in terms of experience, capacity, network, net worth, and in terms of anything good, he has all it takes to be the next governor of the state irrespective of personal inhibitions or opinion, we cannot stop people from having their own opinions.

“But my opinion is a statement of fact-checking, you can fact-check it. So, it is strange that if he aspires to be the governor of Taraba State? Is it strange that he can’t run the Taraba state taking into cognizance his experience as a legislature and as someone who served the executive arm of government?

“What are you looking for in governance? Capacity, understanding, experience, and above all, the capacity to harness all our divergent views and opinions as well as to run everything into one, so that we will have meaningful development in Taraba State, and that is what we want.

” I want you to fact-check other candidates if there are anyway, to find out, put them side by side with Sen. Emma Bwacha, you will see that they are miles miles miles far behind. But if you have anything I want to be contradicted. These are notorious facts,” said Gamaliya.

On insinuating that the APC has no gubernatorial candidate in Taraba State, Hon. Ahmed Yusuf Gamaliya described the rumor as baseless, saying that ” for the avoidance of doubt, the gubernatorial candidate for APC is Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha, and this one you can take it to the bank.

“That is why it is part of the closes in the electoral act to display a list of candidates so that the electorates will be in the position to see those names, and if anybody has any legal action to take, it is there displayed. So, for you to tell me that APC doesn’t have a candidate, your question is very academic,” Gamaliya emphasized.

However, on the recent moves by the APC gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha to reconcile with those that lost the primary elections of the party, Gamaliya said they are trying to put their house in order before the kick-off of the proper campaign to enable them to move with a formidable force as one family so that at the end of the day they will be able to achieve victory in all the elective positions from the house of assembly to the presidential election.

According to Hon. Ahmed Yusuf Gamaliya, who is a Federal Commissioner, Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, 80% of the aggrieved members attended the reconciliation meeting held in Jalingo and expressed optimism that there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

Governance in Taraba reduced to waste – Senator Bwacha

The Senator representing Taraba south senatorial district, Emmanuel Bwacha, has frowned at the alleged manner Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku’s administration has piloted the affairs of Taraba State.

Speaking on Wednesday with media practitioners in Jalingo, he expressed sadness that governance, under the present administration of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state “has been thrown into the dustbin”.

He alleged that the destruction so far created by Ishaku’s administration is so much and it is still counting.

He said, ”it is most devastating because I am aware that even infrastructures that are developed are now on the verge of being sold and the money taken by an individual because of his share greed and primitive accumulation.”

He called for an end to the many vices he alleged the incumbent state government has caused the state, and asked Tarabans, irrespective of religious, tribes and political affiliations to rise and halt further destruction of the state.

He said “We must have to stop the governance of the state from being reduced to a family business. We must restore the glory of the state’s finances, decency and good governance.”

“We did not start like this. I have the blessing of God to be among those who were involved in the civil regime in Taraba When the first civilian government was installed in 1992. I was also a player and I know it was not like this.

“In Taraba State now, our dear state, you will be in a tricycle (Keke NAPEP) and will not know that the rider is a Special Adviser to the Governor. This is truly unspeakable and unacceptable and shouldn’t be associated with a state that is craving for development”.

The senator who is the governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, also expressed dismay that the people of the state have been divided along religious and ethnic lines by the present state government.

“Taraba State which used to be a united state and more of a family in spite of its diverse ethnics and cultural groups is now going through an unimaginable destruction and disunity that requires serious prayers from every person to restore the glory of the state.” He said

Bwacha tackles Ishaku, says gov ‘ruined’ Taraba

The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Taraba State, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha, on Wednesday, said Governor Darius Ishaku’s led administration has ruined the state and has taken the state backwards on several fronts.

Bwacha, who said his desire to be governor of Taraba was to restore the state’s lost glories, lamented that the state was on the precipice and needed to be saved from collapse.

“This is not the Taraba we know. We didn’t start like this and we can not continue like this.

“Imagine you are in a Keke Napep, just to discover that the rider is a Special Adviser to the governor of Taraba State. This goes to define how poverty has overwhelmed the state and its citizens.

“I was also a player when the first civilian government came on board in Taraba in 1992. We wanted to promote governance and take development to the people, but all that has been destroyed by the rumour-milling industry we have in the State today.

“I have been told from the position of authority that even the few developed infrastructure are on the point of being sold and the money taken by an individual because of his share greed for primitive accumulation of wealth and we will do everything possible to stop that and restore confidence in the people and build a better Taraba,” he said.

The senator said he was in the state to reconcile with all aggrieved members of the party to enable them to succeed in the 2023 election.

While responding to insinuations that his car gift to former Governor Jolly Nyame after he was released from the Kuje correctional centre was to woo Nyame to support his governorship ambition, Bwacha said the car gift was not politically motivated.

“I want to correct the impression that my car gesture to former governor Nyame after his release from the Kuje correctional centre is to woo him to support me to be governor of Taraba.

“My action and continued loyalty to Nyame is not politically motivated. Nyame is my father, he is a father to all Tarabans and I believe he needed such a welcome without any political thought.”

2023: Taraba APC on victory path — Bwacha

By Femi Bolaji, Jalingo

The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Taraba state, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has initiated a dialogue with aspirants who lost their bid to secure the party’s candidacy for various positions during primary elections.

Bwacha who spoke at the meeting with State Assembly, House of Representative and Senate aspirants said the party is already on the path of victory and wants every hand on deck.

He said the atmosphere of the state and the circumstances its citizens have found themselves has positioned the APC to emerge victorious at the polls.

He also reaffirmed that his reason for convoking the dialogue is to solidify the home front before the campaign period.

Briefing newsmen after meeting the stakeholders, Bwacha said Taraba state is on the precipice and citizens of the state are yearning for fresh breadth.

According to him, “We have been able to engage those who contested in the governorship primaries significantly and substantially and the process is still ongoing.

“However, we came here today to initiate a dialogue process with those who lost at the state assembly, house of representative and Senate primary elections.

“We need to come and stabilise the home front right from the state assembly, house of reps and the senate to ensure victory for the party across board.

“Taraba state is on a precipice and the people have lost confidence in governance. That is why we need everyone of them to be involved to salvage the state.”

He also explained that his car gift to former governor of the state, Jolly Nyame, after he was granted pardon by the federal government was not for political reason.

Bwacha who said he served under Nyame during his stint as first executive governor of the state described his former principal as father to all indigenes of Taraba state.

Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha and the road to government house jalingo by 2023.

The narrative of Taraba politics is gradually changing for a transformation agenda as Sen Emmanuel Bwacha is taking the lead by 2023; Democracy which is the government of the people by the people and for the people is aimed at ensuring everyone gets it's dividends. The people's senator, Sen Emmanuel Bwacha has been working tirelessly since the inception of his political career to see that the good people of Taraba state enjoy their constitutional rights and privileges.

Sen. Bwacha is a commendable leader, who has been in active politics not as an absentee landlord but a loyal, faithful, responsible and transparent messenger since the inception of his political career.

We understand that Taraba will develop if all the institutions which are required to maintain her economic, health, cultural and social standards; such as the financial system, the education system, the health care system, the system of government, and law enforcement, as well as emergency services are reformed to perform.....but with the present poor leadership we are experiencing, this can only be a mirage.

We need a true Leader we can trust, a leader with a track record in transparency and honesty, a leader dyed in integrity and self-discipline who can lead Tarabans into doing the ordinary things correctly as well as rewrite the state development storyline.
Having resolved to move our state forward to economic prosperity, i present to you the man who will led the road to Government House, Jalingo by 2023, he is Dist. Sen. Dr. Sen Emmanuel Bwacha

Therefore, those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom and good leadership/governance must likewise undergo the fatigues of supporting it. As we look forward to seeing the Sen Bwacha 2023 in Taraba state government house jalingo by 2023, we MUST play our parts by praying, planning and preparing to support the people's senator. He's a leader of our collective dreams, his leadership style has drawn attention and admiration of people in all nooks and crannies of the state.

A vote for Sen. Dr. Emmanuel Bwacha is a vote for development.

Pray and Watch..
