A supporter of Nigeria's Labour Party, OGersh, has taken his support for the party to the Africa’s tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro for 10 and a half hours in other to place the party's flag at the Uhuru Peak.

You might want to know that the Uhuru Peak is the highest point of the mountain and highest point in Africa.

Sharing pictures of himself at Uhuru Peak, next to the Labour Party flag on Tuesday saying, “On Fri, 20/10/2022 after 10½ hrs of climbing, hiking and trekking, I made it to the Uhuru Peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, 5,895m above sea level. There is no better place to announce the coming of a New Nigeria than the rooftop of Africa.”

Gunmen set ablaze three trucks conveying tomatoes in Anambra after robbing travelers on Onitsha-Owerri expressway

Three trucks conveying tomatoes and a personal car were set ablaze by unknown gunmen at Ekwusigo-Ozubulu junction along the Onitsha-Owerri expressway in the early hours of today October 21.

The gunmen were said to have blocked the road to attack travelers plying the road. After stealing from them, the assailants then set ablaze the trucks and the personal car before taking to their heels.

Confirming the incident to LIB, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, said

''It is a case of armed robbery and arson. It was reported in the early hours of today. The hoodlums blocked the Onitsha-Owerri road expresssway by Ekwusigo-Ozubulu. Police quickly went to the scene. Before we got there, the armed robbers had already made away with personal belongings of the victims who were on transit and when they couldn't get what they wanted, they set the trucks carrying tomato on fire''

Tochukwu said three trucks and a personal car were burnt. He said no casualty was recorded. He said the police has intensified patrol in that area and that efforts are being made to unmask the identities of those behind the criminal act. Amebo naijagist
