Healing takes time!

It's a gradual process and I must commend you, you're doing just fine!

Everyone has their own way and pace of healing

Show yourself some compassion!

Sometimes it's okay to admit that you're still hurting

Sometimes it's okay to scream, cry and let it all out instead of bottling it up inside and withdrawing from everyone else

Sometimes it's okay to confront the people who did us wrong and ensure that justice is served

Sometimes it's okay to just forgive and let go

The bottom line is, do whatever makes you feel better and don't feel any remorse

Don't feel guilty for putting yourself first!

Feels good to be back in this space after a long break 💯

I yearn to be held tightly in your arms,

When you do, I feel an overwhelming sense of safety and comfort.

Your skin is an exquisite display of melanin, reflecting the sun's rays like a dazzling mirror.

Your eyes, so alluring, reflect the beauty that I see in myself, my love.

You are my Eze, my King, the ruler of my heart, and the most magnificent man to ever walk the earth.

Your strength is unparalleled, towering above my village's tallest iroko tree, and your unwavering support is like a rock that stands unaffected by the harshest winds.

Your strength reminds me of the legendary Okonkwo in "Things Fall Apart." Without you, my world would fall apart, so I implore you to stay with me, my love.

Together we will flourish like a beautiful flower in the warmth of the morning sun.

God would never be real to you until you move from saying....

God can save to God saves me!

Move from saying....

God can heal to God heals me!

Move from saying......

God can provide to God provides my every need!

The list can go on and on but the bottom line is you only experience God for yourself when you believe he isn't only a good God but he can infact be good to YOU!!

It's shocking how so many people believe that God is good but consciously or subconsciously do not believe that he can be good to them for real!

When every turn turns out to be a road leading you back to the dark cave you've been longing to leave, it's time to show the world that there can be another way!

When every resolution turns out to be a mere consolation for the time lost wallowing in desolation, say to yourself honey, it's time to show the world that there can be another you!

Another you, trying to heal the inner child hurting helplessly by the trauma that no one apologized for, Another you striving to be a better you, another you rising above the confinement of your past, embracing all that the future has in stock for you!

Stop living in self-pity, frustration and regrets about the things you cannot change!

It's time to give happiness another chance!

A man is wired to protect and provide for the woman he loves or cares about 💯 they are chivalrous in nature! They always want to be a hero in the lives of the ones they love(family). It comes naturally with them, that is why when a man has money, he thinks of how he can make the people around him comfortable ( spouse,mom, siblings, children, girlfriend e.t.c) and as long as they are okay, he is okay

Ladies if you like listen if you like don't but one way to know if a man really loves you is that he spends on you! You don't even have to ask him, once a man has you in his heart, he would naturally want to protect and provide for you! This has nothing to do with whether he is rich or not.

If you like be doing independent lady or I can foot the bills, men don't like independent ladies they only pretend they do only to exploit them and then use the money to take care of the woman they truly love!

So baby girl, relax your pretty head, sit down and enjoy your man's money 💯 All you have to do is show them you appreciate what they are doing and be loyal and respectful to them simple!

I didn't say as a lady you should be lazy and solely depend on your man to take full responsibility of your every need especially if you guys are not married yet, be a hard working and industrious lady, earn you own money but don't take a man's place in your relationship, don't turn tables.

I have a solution for you!

I will be giving you five practical steps to come out of any heartbreaking situation.....

Before I get right into it, let me tell you a very short story about a very famous man in the Bible;King David. when David realised that the child he had with Bathsheba who was previously ill had finally kicked the bucket, He arose from where he was previously fasting and praying for God to spare his life, took his bath, anointed himself, and demanded for a good meal after which he went into the temple to worship. In this story are the five steps I had talked about earlier.

let me simplify
⚡ Get concrete information about the situation on ground.
⚡come to terms with it
⚡Surround yourself with what makes you happy, reconnect with friends, go out, have fun!
⚡Eat a nice meal, that meal you have been craving for ( no matter what you are going through, don't skip meals, if possible get medications that would boost your appetite, then eat, eat and eat!)
⚡Go into the house of the Lord and thank him, spend more time in his presence ( this is very important?)

Most times when we lose things or people, it's because God has a better plan or a better person prepared for us!
Learn to trust God even when you have no idea of what he is up to because he has something special in store for you 🌹

Reasons you have to heal

Heal so that you would'nt end up bleeding on who didn't hurt you especially in relationship or marriage. Because most times you end up marrying a man that reminds you of your ex, if you haven't healed, any little thing he does would trigger you. You can't trust men again because you didn't heal though you thought you did!

Becoming harden and impenetrable is not true healing honey, don't let anyone steal your feminity away from you. As a feminine lady you ought to be soft and warm not hard and cold.

You are allowed to cry, take some time off Afterall you are human but make sure you heal and come out stronger, softer and more loving. Learn from your past but don't dwell in it

This morning, when I saw his picture pop up in my phone, an unexplainable feeling washed over me!

Then I realised that I have only succeeded in building a wall around my wound, I had become harden instead of healing and you know the crazy thing about that is that it hurts whenever it is triggered and then instead of it just bleeding it becomes filled with pus

How long would you keeping running away from those that caused you pain? how long would you continue to hate on them? yes they were mean, they don't deserve your forgiveness at all, they didn't even realise how much pain they caused you or probably took great pleasure in seeing every tear drop out of your beautiful eyes but you have to forgive them and let go for YOU! because not forgiving them is like you punishing yourself for their mistakes.

Darling it is when you get to that point when they no longer have any effect on you that you know you have completely healed not wanting them to disappear completely from your Life because even if you block them on your social media handles, a mutual friend might post them or share their post and when you see that, all of the emotions would come rushing back! so tell me would you block those mutual friends too? Darling you'll keep on blocking until you end up blocking the whole world!( don't mind me I exeggerate alot 😂)

Having said that, it is important to also know that just because someone hurt you doesn't mean that God is going to punish them or karma is going to catch up with them. Infact study shows that 70% of people who were victims of abuse end up living more miserable lives than their abusers! This means that if you don't drop that baggage and go through your healing journey, you might end up living in depression and regrets and this can hinder you from maximizing for full potential and getting the best out of your life's journey while the person(s) that wronged you continue to thrive.Yes, they broke you but it's time to HEAL
