MERMAID'S LOVE.

Episode one.
'Ojone, come and wash this plates! Ojone make sure that, that food doesn't burn. Why haven't you bathed my children? Why are those clothes still soaked in water? Are you m@d? Mrs Enejo asked Ojone.

Ojone was pacing around confused. She didn't know what to do. How can a young girl of twelve work like a man, in his thirties. Isn't it child ?

Ojone was a young girl of twelve. Her dad was an Igala man and her mum was an Igbo. Ezinma, for that was her mother's name. Ezinma was a true definition of beauty. At age 16, she was fully matured and men were asking for her hand in marriage.

Their endless love ended soon when, Ezinma di*d during child birth. She couldn't make it. She gave birth to Ojone and kicked the bucket. It was a sad moment for Ojima. Everyone thought he won't survive it because, they husband and wife shared a tight bond.

She started m@ltreating the girl, it seemed it worked. She has just given birth to her third child, few months ago.

'Why haven't you washed those pots? She asked hitting her from the back.

'Mummy, I'm so so...
She couldn't complete the statement, when Enejo cuts it.
'Did you just call me mummy? Do I look like the b@stard that gave birth to you?

'I'm sorry, ma.'

'Sorry, for yourself.' Enejo said hitting her hard.

IN THE MERMAID WORLD.

The princess 'Dora' and her best friend 'Milicent', are in a room discussing.

'Do you mean it? Princess Dora asked.

'Yes, I do. Human beings are so beautiful.' Millicent replied.

'Wow! Can you take me to see them? Dora asked.

'I can't.'

'Why?'

'Your mother may find out and she will punish me.'

'She won't. I'll tell her that I was at your house. We won't spend time, please.'

'Okay, let's go.'

Ojone was tired. This was her sixth trip to the village stream. Borehole made it easier, for people go have water in their houses. Only the poor fetches water from the stream.
Perhaps, that was the reason why Ojone was the only one there, today.

She heard some noises in the water. She looked and she saw a merm...

Beware Of FĂ ke prophet

Chapter One

Written by Faith stories

“Open your mouth and screamed aloud to your maker. Pour out your spirit and soul in worshipping him.

Adebayo stood on the pulpit, declaring by all strength. He sprayed around holy Communion known to his congregation which was another mixed content known to him. He went over to a woman and tap her severally that she je**ed up, raising her hands up in the spirit.

“Your name is Cynthia.” He said and she nodded in affirmation. “You have three children” He said and she nodded again in excitement. In your compound there is a big idol there.

“Yes sir!!!!!” The woman screamed around, thanking God for locating her. He told her the idol was the problem in her life. He told her that the woman second daughter was their next victim. The congregation screamed, the woman threw herself around, crying out loud.

“Help me Papa! Please help my family “ She pleaded continuously.

He took her hand and returned to the front of the congregation. He raised another prayer point and they all began to pray. He touched the woman forehead and she fell to the floor under his anointing. Many miracles were performed that day. The blind sees and the crippled walk…. But there was something left untold and unknown to everyone about Prophet Adebayo.

In his house was a hidden room where he locks all the time. This room was only known to him and his wife. It was built underground their house. One day, a woman came with her triplets to appreciate him for his support all through her waiting on the Lord. He carried one of the baby while sitting on his office desk and smiled broadly.

“Our God is good” He said happily. The woman thanked him again and then requested for something he also didn’t expect.

“I know this is very hard. But I have spoken with my husband about it and we shall both be glad if it would be accepted by you Sir.

“ha, this is a huge request. I have never done this in my life.

“I know sir, but your acceptance will be a good thing for us” The woman answered on her knees.

Adebayo was silence for a moment, and then told the woman he would think about it or probably talk to his wife about it. The woman was very happy that day and later on left his office. When he returned home in the evening and told his wife, she was happy and without hesitation told him to accept the woman desire of giving them one of her baby. He sighed down and told his wife to rethink the decision again, but she was over excited to think further as she had long been expecting to have a child around her. He shrugs his shoulders and then accepts to bring in the baby as his wife wish. His wife Rebecca was over excited that day, thanking and reminding her husband about it.

Two days later, Adebayo called for the triplet mother and she arrived with her baby. She handover her baby girl to Adebayo and his wife on her knees joyfully. She prayed and thanked them for uplifting burdens from her life.

“On one condition” Adebayo said to her.

“What condition Sir?” The woman asked, curiously.

“Apart from my wife, you and your husband. No other person should know about this. Or have you told people you’re coming to us with your baby?

“No sir” The woman replied. She told him she will never tell anyone that it will be sealed secretly between them. When he asked what she would tell people about her third baby, she told him she knows what to tell them.

Adebayo’s wife hugged the woman and prayed for her. She told her she was having the thought of going for an adoption, but she came at the right time. Adebayo and his wife prayed for her and she left.

Three days later, the woman that gave out her daughter ran into an emergency room carrying her remaining two babies with tears in her eyes. Her mother and husband both look disturb watching as the babies where taken from them. She was looking shattered and weak. Hoping for a positive report. She couldn’t tell what happened, and why they both suddenly stop breathing. She remembered her Prophet, and without anyone knowing she ran outside to get a recharge card to call him while panting heavily. Immediately she finished recharging her number, a Màd woman jumped to her front, frightening her unexpectedly.

Sarah was Barren for more than 7 years. She was not concerned about it for a period of time until snide talks from people started troubling her. If this one comes, she will tell her what Mama lagbaja said. If another one comes she will tell her what Mama tamado said about her. When she listened to all this, her heart will become bitter. She started refraining from going to church thinking she has just been wasting all her time when God knew what she was going through and couldn’t answer her prayer.

This continues until one day, she was driving back home from her shop and then saw a woman in front of her house carrying twins. She knew she hasn’t met her before and wonder what brought her. She drives into the parking lot and came down. All for her to turn to her house entrance and didn’t see the woman again. She was shocked. She called and search around and couldn’t find her. She was shout calling the woman in panic. When she was tired she stood by her hands on her waist looking at the front when she saw the backside of the woman with the babies. She didn’t know what came over her as she started running after her, calling her but the woman didn’t answer nor look back. Out of fidgeting, she woke up from her sleep screaming aloud.

She then called her husband and told him. He too was marvel and had to inform her to report to her pastor or her mother. She listened to her husband. Instead of her mother she went to church on Sunday and that particular day service was tagged I SHALL CARRY MY BABY It was a powerful encountered and right there she rededicated her life to Christ. She was touched by the word of God and testimonies shared. She later went to see her pastor after service and narrated her dream to him. The man of God told her the Lord has come to visited her but her strong heart towards God and for her to have backed God from blessing her sent the children away.

That day, right in front of the Pastor. She cried her heart out. Asking continuously for forgiveness of sins from God again. She was told to return home and start 21 days dry fasting. When she heard that, the devil came with a thought of her, missing her delicious meals and favorite food she do prepare. And how she do get hungry every minute. So many thoughts of wanting her to rethink the fasting and prayer kept coming, but by her determination and passion to defeat the ev,il distraction she ignored it and began the dry fasting.

During those period she started facing a lot of challenges. At her shop, around her house. She stop listening to what people comes to tell her. And because of that many of them started making her an enemy. Mocking her behind and sometimes stylishly in her presence. Non of them knew what she was going through even when she finished the dry fasting. And finally one day, God visited her and open her womb. She took him to the surprised of herself and her husband after two months of already pregnant without her awareness. She kept the news to herself and her husband when she was told in the hospital. She was very happy. Even at that, her mockers continues to movk and call her names. Saying all sort of things until God started shutting their mouth one after the other when her stomach was getting bigger. One even ask her confusingly.

“Are you pregnant? Congrats ooo

It was a big blow and a shock to them. They never expected it to happen so sudden. On her delivery day come and see how they were coming in to congratulate her as if she was a Queen. Some also went just to really confirm if truly the child was her own or not.

“My God shut their mouth for good. They all came to eat and dine with me on my child naming day. They ate and ate and even took home. I was crying joyfully in my heart because of what the Lord did for me. I was called a barren, I was abused of dressing gorgeously all the time. I was called money spender when I should be spending on my children. Oh, I pray for you reading this that all your mockers shall be put to shame! My joy was full. So shall yours be.

Before You Adopt a Child Watch This Video || This Video Will Shock You ⚠️🚨

Have you ever loved someone so deeply that you were willing to give up everything just to see them succeed, to see them happy? That kind of love is rare, but it was the very foundation of Sophia’s life. Sophia was the kind of woman who had a heart big enough to love the world. She never married, never had children of her own, but she didn’t let that stop her from becoming a mother. Her story is one of incredible love—but also unimaginable heartbreak.

Sophia adopted a baby boy when he was just one year old. She named him Marcus, after her late father, believing that the name carried strength and hope. Marcus was her pride and joy. She worked tirelessly as a schoolteacher, saving every penny she could to give him the best life possible. While many women her age spent their days enjoying their families or worrying about their retirement, Sophia’s focus was singular—raising this boy to become a man of character.

And she did everything right—or at least, she thought she did. Marcus was enrolled in one of the best schools in the city, and Sophia made sure he never lacked anything. She celebrated his every little achievement as though it were her own. She cheered the loudest at school events, stayed up late to help him with projects, and taught him to believe in himself when he doubted his abilities. To the outside world, Sophia and Marcus looked like a perfect family, one built on love and sacrifice.

But as the years passed, cracks began to form in the foundation of their relationship. They were subtle at first—a rebellious attitude here, a disrespectful comment there. Sophia brushed it off as teenage angst, something every child goes through. But Marcus wasn’t like every child. He had questions, ones that Sophia didn’t see coming.

One day, at the age of 14, Marcus learned the truth about his adoption. A boy from the neighborhood, Clarence, had overheard conversations between the adults and decided to share this "secret" with Marcus in the most careless way imaginable. "You know she’s not your real mother, right?" Clarence had said, with a smirk that reeked of mischief.
Marcus froze. “What are you talking about?”

PARENTS PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR GIRL CHILD 🚸

LAST EPISODE (A short story)

I will carry her over there “ Thomas said beside his sister. He had come out when he heard his sister’s voice. “No, I am not going.” Chioma stood back refraining from going. When her mother saw how stubborn Chioma was, she slapped her face, cursing her for disobeying her in front of her brother. Chioma had no choice and followed Thomas to the stream. She was quiet on their way going and coming. Thomas noticed it, and then parked aside on the road. He blamed Chioma for what is happening to her. He told her to comply with him and she would be fine. Tears flows done Chioma face in pale, she couldn’t utter a word. He look at her over again and held her both hands and she slipped it away gently. “Let me have a round with you “ His outspoken words broke Chioma down again. When he noticed her unmoved behavior, he got down from the car and went to carry Chioma to the back seat and did it again.

When they arrived home Chioma mother was still angry with her and so she didn’t speak with her. Thomas was very happy he wasn’t caught or noticed of what he did. He took the advantage and gave his sister huge money. She collected it in joy, showering prayers on her brother. “You are a blessing to me “ She uttered in joy. Two weeks in the village with Thomas was an hell to Chioma. Almost everyday looks empty to her. She felt lonely and depressed, fighting to distance herself from Thomas. What shocked her most is how her mother would turn herself to slave on his first calling. She prepared his food, washed his clothes, cleaned his shoes and also join in watching his cars. She suddenly dislike everything about her mother. But her mother love for money gave no way to see what she was battling.

On the day Thomas bade them farewell. It was a burden free day for Chioma, but her heart and soul curses him as he goes. Her grandparents returned to their house and then it remains her and her mother, including her little brother. For days, her mother ignored her. She was still angry with her because of her attitude during Thomas visit. Well, things became sour for her on the day she nearly beat Chioma to her last breath that she fainted. She carried her to the hospital, running like a crazy woman. At the hospital, the doctors took Chioma to the emergency room. Her mother waited outside, pacing the hallway. She felt guilty.

After some hours, a doctor came out. His face was serious. And her heart sank. “Mrs. Adaobi, your daughter has been through something very painful,” the doctor said. “She has been sexually abused. We’ve done our best to help her, but there are complications. Her womb is badly damaged and blocked. She may never be able to have children.”

Adaobi felt like the world was crashing down. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “No… this can’t be true,” she whispered, tears falling from her eyes.

When Chioma woke up, Adaobi sat by her bed, holding her hand. She looked at her daughter’s weak body and felt a deep sadness. Chioma, my child, what happened to you?” Adaobi asked, her voice trembling.

Chioma hesitated, then whispered, “Uncle Thomas… he… he hurt me, Mama. But you didn’t believe or wanted to hear me say it at all. Adaobi’s heart broke. She had failed her daughter. She had been so focused on making money that she hadn’t protected her own child. Anger and guilt filled her heart, and she decided to make things right.

She called Thomas, demanding he come to the village and face what he had done. But Thomas refused, saying Chioma was lying. Their fight got so loud that the police came. Adaobi reported what Thomas had done, and he was arrested. But Thomas used his money and power to win the case. The court said there wasn’t enough evidence, and he was set free.

Adaobi was heartbroken. She felt like the world had failed her and Chioma. But she didn’t give up. She kept fighting, telling everyone what Thomas had done and warning others about him.

Months later, Adaobi heard that Thomas had been arrested in the city for hurting other young girls. This time, there was strong evidence against him. During the trial, Thomas confessed to everything, including what he had done to Chioma. He was sentenced to life in prison.

Adaobi felt some relief, but she was still filled with guilt. She had failed her daughter when Chioma needed her most. She had been so busy chasing money that she ignored the signs.

One evening, Adaobi sat by Chioma’s bed, holding her hand. “I’m so sorry, Chioma. I should have listened to you. I should have protected you. I failed you as a mother.”

Chioma looked at her mother with pain in her eyes. “It’s okay, Mama. I love you.” She said inconvenient. Adaobi’s heart ached, but she felt a new determination. She promised to be a better mother and to help other parents avoid her mistakes

At a community meeting, Adaobi spoke to the crowd. “I stand here today as a mother who failed her child. I was so focused on money that I forgot what really matters. I ignored my daughter’s pain, and it cost her dearly. Please, listen to your children. Protect them. Don’t make the same mistake I did.”

As she spoke, tears fell from her eyes, but she felt strong. She had lost so much, but she was determined to use her pain to help others. Looking at Chioma, she saw hope.

Together, they would heal and make sure no other child suffered like Chioma had.

He was an helper to his poor sister in the village whose husband had die two years ago. She was always telling him to visit home someday that he declined until this very day he accepted.

On arriving there compound, he was escorted by flashy cars that got everyone in his community amazed. His family at large was over excited of his presence. They welcomed him in royalty. Those in need of money bend down to pick instantly, their face lightening in excitement of the Happy moments. In the evening , his parents welcomed him with a delicious native meals and he ate to his satisfaction. Just then, his sister’s daughter Chioma entered with a tray of palm wine. When he saw her, his eyes widened in love.

“wow! Whose child is this? He asked in admiration.

“My daughter of course! Haven’t you seen her before? Ohh truly, you haven’t seen or met her. It was her naming ceremony you sent me 100 thousand Naira 17 years ago “ His sister explained, smiling joyfully. He smiled swiftly nodding his head in response. He was amazed by her beautiful appearance. The thought of her endowed shape lingered in his mind as he looks down. “What a damsel “ He muttered in his mind.

Before they all went to bed that day. Chioma was all over her Thomas, asking questions about the city and he also gave in chances of replying her. He beckoned her to sleep in the same room with him and she accepted happily hugging him tightly. As the night comes, The moon hung low, casting its silver glow over the quiet earth, as shadows danced beneath the whispering trees. Thomas couldn’t sleep peacefully as his mind and soul was attracted to his niece. He takes a glance at chioma’s body while sleeping. He couldn’t how endowed she was. His throat longers for her body. So he tapped her gently until she woke.

“Uncle Thomas what happened? Are you not sleeping?” Chioma asked curiously.

“Why should I sleep when a damsel like you is right beside me” He smirked at her.

“I don’t understand” She queried confusingly.

“I will give you money if only you can put my thing in your mouth.

Chioma looked confused, staring at him in the dark. She sat up to comprehend what he said but she couldn’t fathom it. He held her closed and whispered into her ear and she opened her mouth widely in shock.

“What! Uncle no!” She answered, her heart racing in fear. He whispered again and she shakes her head to decline. He frowned his face saying all sweet things he could tell. How richly he was to take her a long to the City. He promised to sponsor her education abroad, promised to give her the best of things in life. Chioma declined unacceptably shovering his hands away from her body. He grinned and grabbed her by her waist as she made to step down from bed. She flinked and shouted at him. He held her back like a man and lay her back to the bed.

“if you shout, you go put yourself for trouble. So comply with me like a gentle lady.” He uttered quietly by her right ear as she stood froze. Tears dropped down her eyes, unable to say a word. She cried silently as she was taken into a mature woman.

Thomas had threatened her, and the fear of not being trusted if she told her mother wallowed her. She later left the restroom and went out to help her mother in the kitchen.

Right there she pooped out the occurrence. Her mother laughed out loud, calling her a storyteller. She tried all she could tell make her mother believed her but the love of things are mother was enticed to from Thomas blindfolded her from seeing what she said. She called her a liar, cautioned her from saying the impossible.

She told Thomas everything Chioma said and his face turns red instantly, pretending to be annoyed by words. He lambasted his sister for the lies chioma had told her. Chioma stood a bit from him looking speechless to how he was pretending and acting innocently in front of her.

She fumes and left their presence angrily. During the day she was sent to go to the stream but she couldn’t because she was weak. She woke up by her mother splashing of water on her. “Mama!” She shouted in disbelief.

A Blind Princess Got Married To a MĂ dman

The End

Days passed, and Adaora awoke each morning with hope, but the world remained dark. Servants whispered around the palace that the prophecy had been false that the gods had not granted her sight.

The kingdom was in an uproar, priests debated the meaning of the vision, and rumors spread like wildfire. Some claimed the gods were angry, others accused Aba of fabricating the prophecy for his own gain.

Adaora’s heart ached with disappointment, but she did not blame Ikenna. She saw him not as a mad man, but as a tortured soul.

One evening, she asked, “Ikenna, what do you see when you look at me?”

He turned away, his voice hollow. “Nothing. Just darkness, like my own mind.”

Adaora wept that night, praying silently for the gods to heal her sight.

Then, a priest from a distant village arrived with shocking news. He stood before the king and the court, confronting Priest Aba.

“You are a liar!” the rival priest shouted. “There was no vision from the gods, only greed in your heart! You wanted the king dead. The marriage of the princess to the mad man is a cover-up for your evil plans.”

“You are speaking rudely to the gods. You should be banned!” The priest replied angrily.

“There is nothing to be covered for here. There are evidence to your hidden secrets.

The kingdom erupted in outrage. Aba was accused of treachery, and evidence against him was presented. His lies were exposed, and he was cast out In disgrace.

But the damage had been done. Two days after Aba’s lies were revealed, Ikenna awoke as if from a long nightmare. Clarity returned to his mind, but the freedom from madness brought no peace. His heart, hardened by years of suffering, had turned to bitterness. He mocked Adaora’s blindness, dismissing her as “the gods’ unfinished work.”

He withdrew all affection and left her to suffer in loneliness. Meanwhile, Adaora found solace in the royal gardens, a sanctuary where her other senses came alive. The scent of blooming jasmine filled the air, and the cool breeze whispered secrets to her.

One afternoon, a soothing voice reached her ears, and she met Emeka, a traveler from the land of Awusa.

Their bond grew with each passing day as Emeka painted pictures of the world with his words. For the first time in her life, Adaora felt the joy of seeing—not with her eyes, but with her heart. Love blossomed between them, gentle and persistent.
But Ikenna, consumed by jealousy, noticed the change in Adaora. He followed her one evening to the gardens and confronted Emeka, rage overtaking him. "What treachery is this?” he roared. “You dare steal what belongs to me?” Emeka stood firm, protecting Adaora
“She is not an object to be owned. She is a woman of strength and grace.” Ikenna’s fury boiled over, but before he could act, the guards arrived, restraining him.

News of the confrontation spread, and King Oba summoned both men to his court.

Adaora, her heart heavy with guilt and sorrow, confessed, “I am to blame, but my heart has found joy where I did not expect.” The king, though saddened, acknowledged her courage.

Emeka, standing tall, asked for Adaora’s hand in marriage, offering his kingdom’s friendship and his eternal devotion.

The king, impressed by Emeka’s bravery, set a challenge: Emeka must journey to the cursed Ezele Forest and retrieve the Obi Stone, a gem of great power symbolizing truth and purity.

Ikenna, consumed by jealousy, believed Emeka would not survive the journey. But Emeka’s resolve was unwavering. In the heart of the forest, Emeka battled fierce illusions and spirits, ultimately retrieving the Obi Stone.

When he returned, the kingdom rejoiced. The king raised the stone high, declaring, “The gods honor truth and courage.” As the light from the stone filled the hall, Ikenna fell to his knees, his memories of betrayal and bitterness flooding back. “I was blind long before you,” he whispered, tears streaming down his face. Adaora, though her heart had moved on, forgave him. Ikenna was sent away, and he regretted the pain he had caused.

On the day of Adaora and Emeka’s wedding, the hall was filled with joy and celebration. Although Adaora remained blind, her soul was filled with light. Emeka whispered, “I will be your eyes, always.” And she replied, “And I will be your heart.” Just as they began their new life together, a surprise occurred. Priest Aba, holding a white powder, attempted one final act. But the rival priest presented the Obi Stone, and as light filled the hall, Adaora’s vision was miraculously restored. “I can see!” she shouted in joy, and the kingdom celebrated the miracle.

Adaora and Emeka’s love story became a legend, a reminder that true love can overcome the darkest of challenges. And so, they lived happily ever after.

Have a lovely night rest ❣️
