Catholic Priest, Fr. Kelvin Ugwu Reacts After Activist Turned Political Jobber, Adeyanju Deji Says He's Willing To Bet $10k That Peter Obi Will Lose 2023 Presidential Election

“They have gathered to bet, not about Liverpool or Manchester matches, not even about the next country that will win the world cup, but it is about something very sensitive, something that will affect everyone, and especially the future of their kids.

The psychology behind this bet is to create a defeatist mindset in you so that you will start feeling your efforts will amount to nothing, and most especially, to make it look like this election is about Obi winning or losing. No, it has never been about Obi, rather it is about Nigeria losing or winning.

A win or a loss is not a favour to the different political candidates contesting. All the major candidates have got what it takes to be very comfortable until they die. They can literally afford anything they want. But you and I will still be the big losers. . . with no schools to attend because schools are on strike, no job, kidnapping and killing everywhere, and everyone struggling to fly out to other countries.

So, I imagine that if ever Obi loses, there will be celebration amongst these folks betting. Interestingly, while they celebrate, Obi will return happily to his multimillion naira businesses while those celebrating will return to their trenches as they look for generators to charge their phones to tweet "I told you that Obi has no structure."

What a shame!”

They changed later again that he was social media candidate..

And he later became 3rd force..

Now Peter Obi is the candidate to beat..

Reno Omokri is now pleading and preaching..

Dino Melaye is being careful with his choice of words currently..

Deji Adeyanju now saying he loves Peter Obi..

Agbado group are impersonating clergymen..

Cassava, Garri, Ewa association are now pleading to pay actors to support 🦇..
..just because of one man! Just because of Peter Obi! The man they wrote off before! The man they said will win on social media. The man 90% of voters will not vote for because they're not on Facebook?

My people, when they wish you away, tell all sorts of stories and lies to discredit you, and yet running around on daily basis in fears, committing enormous resources to fight you and always have you on their lips, know that they're very much afraid of you. Know that you're what the masses want. Know that you're different. Know that they themselves would want a person like you to manage their private businesses. They even know in their subconscious minds, you're far better than them for the job..

Peter Obi is not desperate, but we the , we Nigerians, we the over 100 million under poverty line are stark desperate to see a working Nigeria again. We're desperate to have a new Nigeria. We're desperate to make our country envious of all nations. We are desperate to become a productive country and not only a consuming one.

How can you earn N1.6trn monthly as a country, only to spend N1.9trn monthly? You keep accumulating debt of over N300bn monthly, who will pay? There is nothing left again to share. That's the fact. We need to stop now or we go down soon and you'll be ready to behold more increment in prices of goods in the market. Only me and you suffer this, not them.

So, if Peter Obi wins, Nigerians win. If he loses, Nigerians lose. This is not the time of "it is my

Wike Rejects APC Over Muslim-Muslim Ticket, Vows To Support Any Better Candidate Apart From Atiku

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has made it clear that he will not join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) or work for its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 general elections, Daily Independent exclusively gathered.

A key associate of the governor, who spoke with Daily Independent on Thursday, said while Wike has insisted that he will not support Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he has also made it clear that he will have nothing to do with the APC over their choice of a Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Wike and his loyalists are currently up in arms against Atiku who announced Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, as his running mate in June.

“The governor has made it clear that he is a foundation member of the PDP and he will not leave it for any other party. The possibility of his joining the ruling party (APC) is completely ruled out.

He has made it clear to us that aside the fact that the APC is a failed party, he finds the Muslim-Muslim ticket being paraded in the 2023 presidential election repulsive and will not be a part of it”.

On why Wike has been inviting APC leaders to his project commissioning in Rivers while snubbing PDP leaders, he said the governor is unhappy with some leaders in the PDP who have failed to tell Atiku the truth. “The governor is not somebody who hides his feelings.

If Wike wants to fight you, he doesn’t hide behind somebody to do so. Clearly, he is unhappy with some leaders of the PDP for not speaking the truth to Atiku, especially by condemning the interview he granted recently which further worsened an already bad situation in the party.

“But I think he has the right to invite whoever he desires to the state to commission projects.
He has friends both in PDP, APC and other political parties, so I don’t think any meaning should be read into that”.

Peter Obi and the propaganda of ‘doing bad to Northern people while he was Anambra governor’.

This lie has gained a lot of media attention and to an extent, many of our Northern brothers and sisters are believing the cheap lies without asking questions.

For the Obidients and lovers of a greater Nigeria with the hope that HE Peter Obi will emerge the next Nigerian President, the truth is that we can’t do this alone. We need all Nigerians to key into this project and it’s our duty to educate and properly inform everyone that the allegation is only a cheap lie to blacklist and blackmail Peter Obi’s name and candidacy in the Northern part of Nigeria.

Most people saying Peter Obi did this or that, when you ask them to name what he did, they actually don’t know but someone told them he did bad to Northern people and here is where we MUST educate everyone properly than trying to argue or fight dirty.

As it stands now, Peter Obi remains the only hope for a greater and better Nigeria and we will make sure we give him our voting support to actualise the dream of having a better Nigeria.

Peter Obi mocks PDP, APC.

The Labour Party presidential flagbearer on Thursday in Abuja said the political structure of the APC and the PDP is ‘stomach infrastructure', noting it has brought nothing but hardship to the land.

He said, “The current structures of both the PDP and the APC are the stomach infrastructure that has brought us nothing but misery.”

A Simple Advice to Peter Obi's Critics

Whatever is following Mr Peter Obi is not ordinary. If you sincerely reflect over every step he had taken so far, from leaving PDP to finding his running mate; the timing of his moves, accuracy of plans and thoughts. . . They are nothing but divine arrangements.

Make peace with this fact: You can't fight him and you can't stop him.

Every single person, that had tried pulling him down so far, ended up killing and making a mess of the reputation they had gathered for years.I am sure you know them already.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has criticised Nigerians, including political elites and the APC regime’s apologists, claiming Nigeria is doing well under President Muhammadu Buhari.

While speaking at the Wilson Badejo Foundation’s 15th annual lecture on Wednesday, Obasanjo said they needed to be examined.

“Nigeria is not where it is supposed to be today,” Obasanjo said. “If anyone says it is OK where we are at the moment, then the person’s head needs to be examined.”

Implosion: Nigeria May Not Survive If We Miss It Again in 2023 - Peter Obi |

From where I stand, I dare to proclaim that Nigeria’s Democracy Must Survive!

Going forward, we must look for ways to move Nigeria beyond oil. We must end this criminality called 'oil subsidy'. Nigeria today is vastly polarised and wrecked by divisions that run deep along religious, ethnic and regional lines.

There is a staggering level of corruption. Our universities have remained closed for over five months. While our healthcare system remains comatose, power generation and distribution are also at an all-time low.

After we win the 2023 elections, we intend to use the instruments of job creation and regenerative investments to drastically reduce the high incidence of insecurity and poverty, while moving the economy from the consumptive to the productive mode.

Undoubtedly, the greatest challenge we face beyond bad leadership, is lack of elite consensus. But, let us not forget Dante Alighieri‘s admonition, that “The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.”

History must serve as a tool in our decision making. The implosion of Nigeria has long been forecasted. Year 2023 could be a tipping point in the annals of our history. But that must not happen, even as the options before the electorate seem stark.

Finally, Our structure is everyone seated in this hall today! Yes, we have structure, and we are ready to move mountains to save Nigeria.

Why 's Popularity Isn't Like that of Buhari and Abiola
By Akhigbe Samson

Peter Obi is a mystery to the Nigerian political system. He's not the first popular politician with a fanatical following.

Buhari and Abiola were very popular candidates.

Buhari had a cult following. I visited Zaria in 2015, I saw people idolising his billboard. I wasn't told neither did I read it, I saw people gather around his image screaming SaiBaba.

Abiola equally had a fanatical following.

His loss at the polls almost burnt down Nigeria. If the military weren't in power in 1993, it would be impossible for a civilian government to hold back the mass hysteria that followed Abiola's denial.

Peter Obi is not the first popular candidates. Why is Peter different?

Peter is an underdog. Buhari and Abiola weren't underdogs, they had established themselves in the political sphere. Abiola bought his way to stardom. No one did giveaway like MKO Abiola in the history of giveaways.

Peter Obi started out by telling us how stingy he was. That's unusual in the Nigerian political system... No, you'll need at least N20b to execute a presidential campaign. But, this guy simply says he isn't ready to give money and then people still followed.

That's the mystery.

APC isn't attàcking PDP and vice versa, both of them are attàcking Obi... They are not even attàcking Labour Party, just Obi. Very strange political strategy.

He has shown that Nigerians truly aren't interested in money politics, the old politicians weaponised poverty to make it look like without money you can't successfully build a national followership.

That's the Peter Obi mystery
