Video: Chaos In Anambra State as Houseboy Reportedly KiIIs Master

A young man by the name Chima has been reportedly murdered by their family Houseboy in Awka, the capital city of Anambra State.

Multiple sources have presented their accounts of what happened between Chima and their Houseboy, which resulted in the young boy attacking Chima and killing him.

According to the information gathered from the killer when he was captured by the local security, he admitted to repeatedly hitting his master Chima with a pestle after he only asked him why he hadn't done his household duties. However, when he refused to answer, Chima slapped him, which led to a fight, where he later fatally attacked his master.

Other reports said he used both kitchen knife and pestle on his master even while his body was already lying helpless on the floor in a pool of blood; hence, he was deliberate with his intention to have him murdered.

The young boy, who should be within the age of 17 or less, and from the Abakaliki area of Ebonyi State, has since been handed over to the Nigerian Police Force, Awka division, for further questioning, while the co**se of the deceased Chima has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.

Immigration officials detain Peter Obi in London for hours, allege impersonation

Presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi was last Friday, allegedly detained in London by UK immigration officials.

Obi was said to have been detained for hours, and interrogated by the officials, after his British Airways plane landed in Heathrow Airport on Friday morning.

Prof Chinyere Okunna, a famous Mass Communications scholar, and Deputy Vice Chancellor of Paul University Awka, who is also a confidant of Obi, revealed this on Wednesday morning.

Okunna, who worked with Obi as commissioner for information, commissioner for economic planning and coordinating commissioner for development partners said Obi who lived honourably in the UK narrated the ordeal to her in private, and expressed pain about his ordeal, and others, which is meant to hound and chase him out of Nigeria.

Okunna said: “I suppose he told me all this confidentially. My very sincere apologies, Your Excellency, for ‘breaking’ this confidentiality, but History beckons and I CANNOT KEEP QUIET.

“Obi spoke to me at the Official Opening of the Specialist Hospital of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Sisters, Nkpor (on Tuesday). He had arrived at the event after flying in from London.

“I actually had no idea he had travelled out of the country, until the ovation over his presence in a London Church went viral on the Internet.

“He arrived at Heathrow Airport and joined the usual queue to pass through Immigration, and that was when his ordeal began.

“He was stopped and questioned for a long time and subsequently handed a detention note and told to wait for further interrogation and investigation.

“This was terribly unusual for a man who had lived honourably in the UK for a long time.

“In the face of this harassment, some well-meaning Nigerians, knowing who he is, raised their voices in protest, demanding to know why he was being treated that way.”

Okunna revealed that in the face of seeming protest by some Nigerians, the immigration officials revealed that someone was impersonating Obi in the country.

“The shocking revelation by the Immigration Officer was that his (Obi’s) identity ‘was duplicated’. This revelation has definitely set off alarm bells.

“For people who are knowledgeable about such matters, this is a very dangerous development because the implication is that someone is impersonating Peter Obi.

“And that someone could implicate Obi in all manner of dubious and even criminal activities, and rope him into any number of offences; he could get Obi framed for one criminal act or another. The frightening scenario of what can happen is unimaginable!!!

“This is the height of it all for a man who has been under sundry intimidation and emotional torture: Bugging of his phone and those of his wife and children; keeping him constantly under surveillance; calling him names; putting him under severe pressure to leave (run away from) the country; wrongly accusing him of negative things he knows absolutely nothing about, etc.

“As he was telling me his ‘Heathrow tale of woe’ at Nkpor today, I could see a man who was in severe pain and under unbearable stress, who many would expect to be at the point of despair.

“But, as he confirmed, he is ready to suffer this pain and is as determined as ever to pursue the path which he has chosen to enable him arrive at the destination which well-meaning people in Nigeria and far far beyond are expecting him to arrive at.”

RE: NO GREENHORN WILL BE 10th SENATE PRESIDENT, UMAHI ONLY SEEKING LOCAL SYMPATHY AHEAD OF THE ELECTION TRIBUNAL.

We are surely not interested in joining issues with Linus Okorie over this fallacy of insignificance depicting his frustration and fixation over his abysmal failure in achieving his inordinate Senatorial ambition, which from inception was rooted in deceit, betrayal and scandal.

Suffice it however, to simply State that those are infantile rants of a clearly hallucinating joker. A jobless dreamer who rides expensive cars in his fitful slumber.
For the avoidance of doubt, Umahi is in the Senate to stay, hundred litigations from day dreamers cannot shake the mandate he was freely given by the people who remain grateful for all he has done for them.
Okorie is an attention seeker who deludes himself that he belongs to where he knows he does not. Had he any substance, one could begin to look at what he is saying. He is to be ignored as he is in no place to determine what happens outside his house.

Umahi believes strongly in God and his ability to dispense power and favour to whom he deems fit.
Petty jealous and bitter-hearted people pour hot coals on their head in a bid to play God.
Umahi as a former Party Chairman, Deputy Governor and Governor for eight years can handle any position of authority very well. Those extant laws Okorie referred to have been waived in the past, it is not a strange occurrence at all. The good Lord will perfect it still and to him will return all Glory.

Okorie's voice ever represents only a steadily diminishing cry of a drowning man seeking help from disinterested onlookers.

For the records, Umahi has received the backing of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, the State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists as well as other notable groups and institutions, including Igbos in diaspora. It is obviously inconsequential to respond to a conquered miniature figure like Linus Okorie who has been boxed to an insignificant corner of disgraceful defeat.

Linus probably thinks that by treacherously forging words to pitch Governor Umahi against his colleague of River State, Nyesom Wike, he would curry the favour of the later to aid him in his futile litigations. He may have thought that by also whipping deceitful sentiments, he would covet the sympathy of the people of Ebonyi South which in every standard, he does not deserve, having been utterly useless to the zone in his two term unfortunate passage through the House of Representatives. Such "argumentum ad misericordiam" has only exposed his (Okorie's) infantile knowledge of politics and approach to social debate. Okorie should therefore not to be taken seriously at all.

Governor David Umahi is eminently qualified for the post of the President of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and one million Linus Okories can't qualify to refute the glaring facts. Vox Populi vox Dei.

ARREST OF HON LINUS ABAA OKORIE OVER DRUG-RELATED MATTERS AND SEVERAL OTHER OFFENCES.

Sequel to initial viral rumours renting the air, cm a Press Release accredited to one Dr David Ogbonna of HON LINUS OKORIE CARINGHEART FOUNDATION, purporting that Hon Linus Abaa Okorie, a former member of House of Representatives, was 'abducted/kidnapped' yesterday (16/10/2022), the Ebonyi State Police Command swung into action and later traced the said Honourable Okorie (who had evaded many Police arrests/invitations), to the head office of the Ebubeagu Security Outfit at the Old Government House.

Police detectives were briefed on why he was arrested which includes; his activities and utterances that incited and provoked the violence that engulfed Onicha LGA which led to suspected IPOB/ESN operatives or unknown gunmen to unleash mayhem in the area, leaving seven (7) persons dead at the end of that fracas. Hence, the case has now been taken over by the Police Command for preliminary investigation.

Secondly, Hon Linus Abaa Okorie was severally invited by the Security and Intelligence Bureau of the Command over a petition dated 23/3/2022, authored by The State's Attorney General/Commissioner for Justice, alleging that he was spreading fake news against His Excellency, Engr Dave Umahi accusing the Governor of illegally withdrawing #6.7 billion from State Government's Account to fund the Appeal Court Judgment against his removal from office, etc.

Similar to the above is another series of false allegations against the Government of Ebonyi State and the Police Command in his social media handles.

When invited by the SIB over the false allegations/petition,
Honourable Linus Abaa Okorie in his characteristic pompous manner refused vehemently to report to the SIB for a chat. Rather he chose to file fallacious suits against the Police Command.

It is also pertinent to mention that Honourable Linus Abaa Okorie also have a pending case in which he is implicated in a drug-related offence where the suspects purported to be his agents were arrested for Hard drug sales and use at his City Hub Inn, Mile 50, Abakaliki. Case was later transfered to the NDLEA for further necessary actions.

The Commissioner of Police, Ebonyi State Command, CP Aliyu Garba psc(+), therefore makes it categorically clear that Honourable Linus Abaa Okorie was neither abducted nor kidnapped and warns that people should desist from painting pictures of insecurity in the State by propagating unfounded rumours. Ebubeagu is a lawfully established local security outfit by the House of Assembly and Government of Ebonyi State. If the outfit as empowered by the State Law, arrests anybody, it shouldn't be interpreted as abduction or kidnapping because those terms mean different things. However, it is expected that the outfit after effecting such arrest, should hand over the matter to the Police for further investigation and other necessary actions which has played out in this instance.

In view of the above, Dr David Ogbonna of Hon Linus Okorie CaringHeart Foundation is warned to henceforth know the implication of wrong choice of words when next dishing out information for public consumption otherwise he will face the dire consequences as enshrined in the laws of the land.

The CP further reassures the good people of Ebonyi State that there is no cause for alarm and advises that everyone should go about their lawful businesses without any fear of molestation, please.
