Recently, I heard someone say one should abandon his/her PASSION and instead go after money and when money is acquired, then if possible, the person can now feed his or her passion. They said PASSION doesn't pay. Well based on what money can do, he seems correct. But in reality, no one is in control of when he or she might finally become financially free. There are those who do what they do not just for money but for a deep sense of fulfilment. If it pays the bills, it's ok. If it makes them wealthy while completely fulfilling them, great. But to abandon it completely would leave them empty despite the wealth. I happen to be among those who can't let their Passion sleep nor die even if we tried. It gets worse when we want to give up. I feel more alive when I practice, produce and perform music. It is the very essence of my life. This year, I will be sharing my songs and songs I produce for others.
