1. The appellate court discharged, acquitted and dismissed all charges against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. However, the Nigerian Government has refused to obey the court order.

2. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s health has been deteriorating as he is under severe physical and mental torture in solitary confinement and he needs urgent medical treatment. We urge the International Community to speak up, protect the Fundamental Rights of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and of the Biafran people and compel the Nigeria government to obey the judgment of the Appeal Court.

3. The right to Self Determination is an internationally recognized right of Indigenous people. We, the Indigenous people of Biafra, are entitled to this right and therefore urge the international community to intervene and press the Nigeria government to put mechanisms in place for the conduct of a referendum for the Indigenous people of Biafra to determine their fate as a people.

4. The Nigerian government has been lobbying the global community to designate IPOB, the victims and survivors of genocide, as terrorists so that the Nigerian Security forces can use it as cover-up to continue with their forceful and extrajudicial detention/killing of Biafran people unabated.

I am writing to address a matter of utmost importance concerning the fraudulent use of the name of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) India for online fund raising . As the legitimate leader of the IPOB freedom fighting movement here in India, I am deeply concerned about recent reports of unauthorized online fundraising activities falsely claiming affiliation with our organization.

It has come to our attention that an individual is impersonating a member and leader of IPOB in India and using this fabricated identity to solicit funds online. We wish to make it unequivocally clear that this individual is not a member of IPOB and does not hold any official position within IPOB nor does he have any authorization to solicit funds on our behalf. The claims he is making are entirely false and maliciously deceptive.

The Indigenous People of Biafra is a well-established, registered organization both in India and globally. We take our reputation and integrity seriously and any activities conducted in our name should align with our core values and principles. We urge the public to exercise caution and diligence when encountering any online fundraising initiatives claiming affiliation with IPOB.

To the individual and his group perpetrating this fraudulent activity, be aware that impersonation and fraudulent actions are against the law and will not go unpunished. We are committed to upholding the integrity of IPOB and will take all necessary legal actions to ensure that justice is served. Our legal team is actively investigating this matter and we will relentlessly pursue legal remedies to hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
