SHORTAGE: Kavango West Regional Council Chairperson Joseph Sikongo has raised concerns over the shortage of medicines in most health facilities in the region, questioning whether Panado is the only affordable option, as it appears to be the only medicine available at local hospitals.

She added that what they need now is just for the town council to construct for them storerooms where they can keep their goods especially those who are into the catering business.

SUPPORT: The Nkurenkuru Town Council spokesperson Sarah Mushongo appealed to private companies to assist the town council in constructing the second phase for the open market for vendors operating in an unconducive environment to be also moved at the open market.
The new open market is accommodating about 70 vendors.
