Beat em Brawl #4 was blast!! 1st of all, Gravest Recs would like a million thanks to all the bands Ablertribe Misery, Disorder, Considehc supporting DEADSCORE for the final and last show farewell party last weekend at new Rumah Api. Also a Big thanks to my crew Adam and Ammar for your helps. Matt Hamzah,MC duty,take control of the crowd, Rapi crew, NET JBHC came down from JB and all the people that make this show happen. Much respect and salute to the crowd that attended wetting the venue and give support to the underground gig scene..see ya soon...

A very sad news.. was unable to perform at the Beat em' Brawl event #4 this Saturday because one of their members, Kyrul, has lost his beloved father, as a tribute Spitting Blood withdrew to perform. May we all give Al-Fatihah

The Spitting Blood will be replaced, if there is a replacement, otherwise only 5 bands will performing, Thank you all... See you tomorrow, at Rumah Api.

Headliner!! Deadscore will plays the final and last show at Beat em Brawl #4 with old and new line up, marking to end over 20 years in our local scene. DEADSCORE started somewhere between mid 2004 & early 2005 whereby the 1st intention is to be the 1st moshcore band in KL, Malaysia (those years are the years where metalcore bands rules the scene here in Malaysia). So 4 kids had been busting their asses go to the studio & practices their own songs plus some cover songs whereby at that time kinda most of it from a big hardcore band such as Hatebreed, Terror,etc. Then suddenly one particular band had inspired DEADSCORE the most which is Bury Your Dead. So the line ups at that time which consist of Mazri(vox), Daryll(guitar),Aie(Bassist), & Jay(drummer) had decided to put the focus with those line & put BYD as their main influence. As time goes by, the needs for heaviness sound is getting out off hand & there is when our friend Mirul goes in side by side with Daryll to fill up the guitar part & blend with us as one unit. Then Aie goes out & replaced by a guy which also a friend of us called Faizal or better know as pejal to take handle of bass part for the band. So thats the humble story about the band so far.
Stuff? Yeah DEADSCORE got some stuff though. At 1st, somewhere around 2005, DEADSCORE had been puttin out 1 raw live recorded demo. The main intention of the demo is to introduce DEADSCORE to the scene & the respond from it was awesome. Kids diggin it so much & by that PERSISTENCE HARD:CO had put it in one cdr along side with RESTRAINT demo for a split release (special for both band 1st Singapore show). Again, the respond from that split was amazing & DEADSCORE is getting well known for its heavy duty music plus tremendous live sets. Thus, DEADSCORE had move on pretty steady & played several shows around KL area. The latest stuff produced by DEADSCORE is Built to Last which currently being their 1st mini cd/ep ever whereby its been officially release on 13/07/2008. These latest release really signify the dedication of the band to the scene & brings back the respect to the band as a whole. In music wise the band is movin towards much more heavier stuff & beatdown style plus some experimental thingy which particularly had been the signature of DEADSCORE now a days. Just name it, crazy sing along, massive circle pits, 2 steps beat, technical breakdowns, etc..its all in DEADSCORE. That is why DEADSCORE is best in the game today & the blood pounding hardcore band from KL, Malaysia who doesnt give a f**k to anything. Recognize whats real brother. HARDCORE 4 LIFE!. Now thats what DEADSCORE is all about. Nothing more & nothing less.
Shows? By far, DEADSCORE had been sharing the stage with lots of local Malaysian hardcore band & a few overseas bands. Here to named a few:-

next, Conside is a 5 piece Heavy Hardcore band from Capital City of Malaysia, The band formed in July, 2023. Conside’s style is the reminiscent of the early 90s metalcore as combine with 90s groove metal band. The band employs heavily downturned riffing, crushing breakdown, shrieking and growled vocals, along with groovy metallic deviations. Mainly influenced by bands like Earth Crisis, Strife, Hatebreed, Throwdown,Sworn Enemy, Kublai Khan, No cure, Lifesick, God’s Hate, Your spirit dies, Azshara, Code orange, Pantera, Machine Head, Helmet, Burn the priest etc. Catch them live at Beat em Brawl #4 .

3rd band, AblerTribe aka eye2zion was fully formed Dec 2006, before this we used to jam since January 2006 .Having brain stormed of concept in various aspect music, lyrics and long term plans, things have been delay due to other personal commitments. There used to be 5 members in the band, which we decided to not include due to uncommitment. Months to months we have brought in sessionist as bassist and lead guitarist but didn’t work. Our lyrics basically to touch on issues such as self-control, struggle in our personal believe, crime, faith etc.....noyz and Jason were Sunday school mates, which Jason been feeded music influence by noyz,Jason is a pure black music lover, Jason interest grew more into rock /metal of green day,Metallica,korn,both of them performed they very 1st stage show in gala dinner st.josephs church ground back in 1998, which Jason as guitarist and noyz as vocalist which jumped around the stage which freaked out some viewers including Jason’s mom for green days good riddance ...late 2005 were pony tailed kit came as guitarist been introduced by Jason, that time were drumless.jamming around with no direction.Thaya our drummer been discovered in Jason’s office, which seems he’s low profile into cannibal corpse/slayer . Ablertribe will continue to bring music with positive spiritual content lyrics, from old school Hardcore vocals to grinding na**lm meets metal mosh-pit breakdowns, to melodic sounds of 90s underrated alternative rock/crust and each members influences.
