Hidden Asia is a digital media startup that focuses on bringing unique, powerful stories from Asia to the world. Based in Malaysia, our mission is to foster greater understanding of the people, culture, politics, ​and ​ideas ​in ​this ​region ​from ​the ​local’s ​perspective.

Under Hidden Asia, we have recently awarded as the grant winner of the FreedomFilmFest, Malaysia’s International Human Rights Film Festival, for the short film on urban refugees in Malaysia. We were also ​selected ​as ​participants ​for ​Crossing ​Borders, ​a ​Euro-Asia ​documentary ​network.
