Talent Options: Singing (Solo or Band), Instrumental (Band), Dances (Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, etc.), Magic Show, Stand Up Comedy or any other talents. The judges have sole discretion to determine the top 12 finalists from the Audition.
3. The Judges’ decisions are final in the Grand Finale.
4. The Organisers (Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church) will not be responsible for any injuries, loss of equi
pment or valuables during the competition.
5. Audition - not exceeding 5 minutes
(Bands have an additional of 5 minutes set up time)
b. Grand Finale (Top 12) - not exceeding 3 minutes
(Bands have an additional of 5 minutes set up time)
c. Grand Finale (Top 6) - not exceeding 3 minutes
(Bands have an additional of 5 minutes set up time)
6. Voting lines will only be open upon the announcement of the Top 6.
7. Voting and Judging System in Audition and Top 12 is solely based on the judges’ decision
8. Voting and Judging System in Top 6:
a. Voting: 40%
9. Singers are to prepare a minus-one track in CD while Dancers are to prepare their CD track to the organizers upon Registration.
10. The winner will be declared when the voting lines are closed.
11. Equipments
a. Audition: one guitar amplifiers, one bass amplifier, one keyboard, a drum set and 3 microphones. Grand Finale: two guitar amplifiers, one bass amplifiers, one keyboard / grand piano, a drum set, and 4 microphones.
12. All contestants hereby agree that images and videos captured and recorded during their performances can be used in the future to promote Forte – Discover the Magic in You!
13. The Organisers does not condone vulgarities, obscenity, profanities, indecent behavior or dressing at Forte – Discover the Magic in You! and reserves the right to disqualify any contestants who flout the rules.
14. Members or KL Baptist Church may be allowed to compete if they are not in the Organising Committee.
15. All Audition contestants will be given a Consolation Prize on the Grand Finale.
16. There will be a Popularity Award for all contestants (whether or not they are qualified in the Grand Finale). Voting of the Popularity Award will be held on the Grand Finale.
17. All Muslim entries must be accompanied with a letter of consent from parents/guardian.
