Rayxanber III (ライザンバー) is a trilogy of scrolling shooter video games developed by Japanese software company Data West, published from 1990 to 1992. Thunder Force AC is a horizontal space shooter from Sega and Tecno Soft. Due to the success of Tecno soft's Thunder Force III for the Megadrive (Sega Genesis), it was decided that the game would be brought to the arcade scene in the form of Thunder Force AC. Ported to Sega's System C-2 hardware, Thunder Force AC is almost graphically identical to its Mega Drive counterpart, with only very minor and often unnoticeable differences.

Galaga is a 1981 fixed shooter arcade game developed Namco. One of the first video games to use RGB color graphics. Controlling a starship, the player is tasked with destroying the Galaga forces in each stage while avoiding enemies and projectiles. Some enemies can capture a player's ship via a tractor beam, which can be rescued to transform the player into a "dual fighter" with additional firepower.
