The fashion and modelling space was where Ikram Abdi could see a vision for herself, and there was clearly a passion ignited to not only succeed in the industry but where she could see positive changes to be made.

Encrusted in Cartier high jewellery collection Le Voyage Recommencé, the Somalian hijabi model shares the why behind her choice of career. “I went with modelling because I saw there was a market for me and felt that barriers could be broken,” she affirms.
