So a few of weeks back Kasih Hospice Foundation reached out to us for some help. One of their patients, Uncle C, really wanted to see his hometown one last time but couldn’t make the journey as he was bedridden.

We hurried to make a longer cut of the Baling, Kedah video with all the clips we had and passed it over to the team.

A few days after sending over the video we got news that Uncle C had passed away.

I hope Uncle C is at peace, thank you for doing what you do Kasih Hospice

Papan is a former mining town filled with history.
This rustic small town was once an important part of Perak’s economy.
Visiting the town can feel like you’re stepping back in time.
The town itself is very well managed and friendly to all visitors.
Its old historical buildings make for a beautiful and unique backdrop, with many pre-war buildings dotting the town.
Close to the town are also some great hiking trails with clear water streams.
