🔊SOUND ON Means cooking more at home for your family. I am sharing a recipe a day or every other day to help you guys feel motivated to cook at home and stay healthy. This ONE POT CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM RICE recipe and it is 100% legit sedap 😋😋😋 .
✅2 sudu besarminyak masak (2 tbls vegetable oil)
✅4 ketul drumstik (4 Chicken drumstick)
✅1 sudu besar garam (1 tbls Salt)
✅Secubit Lada putih (Pinch of Crushed white Pepper)
✅ 4 ulas bawang putih (4 garlic cloves)
✅ 2 inci halia dihiris (2 inch ginger sliced)
✅1.5 cawan beras Basmathi (par boiled) yang dibasuh (1.5 cups of basmathi par boiled rice washed and rinsed)
✅1 cawan cendawan dihiris (1 cup sliced mushrooms)
✅ 4 cawan stock ayam (4 cups of chicken stock)
✅1 batang broccoli dipotong (1 broccoli head)

Eating better does not need to complicated. TRY this - Turkey sweet potato in 20 mins 🍠🥦🦃

523 calories - Protein 53 carbs 44 Fat 15 —
8 ingredients:
- 1 tsp ghee or coconut oil
- 1/2 small broccoli head - in floret pieces
- 1/2 red onion - finely sliced
- medium sweet potato - diced into 1 cm cubes
- 25 grams chorizo - diced 1/2 cm pieces
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 130 grams turkey breast sliced in strips

Instructions:
1. In a bowl mix the turkey with the spices. Mix well and set aside
2. Heat the pan on medium heat. Add the ghee. Add the sweet potato. Cook for 3 minutes.
3. Add the red onion then the chorizo. Cook for 3 minutes more.
4. Add a good splash (3 tbsp) of filtered water to the pan and then add a cover to allow the sweet potato to steam, cook for 3 minutes.
5. Remove the lid. Add the turkey pieces. Moving everything around. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add the broccoli into pan. Add the pan on for 3 more minutes and everything will be cooked though.
7. Turn off the heat. Scatter some fresh herbs, season with salt and squeeze of lemon juice.

This is my kinda tasty weekend meal. You could upgrade it with guacamole or your preferred wrap source - mine would be lettuce 🥬.

| I Finally Like Me |

It took me a long time, to finally embrace and accept myself. "You'll be a good fighter if you're a guy" "You're bulky" "You're too buff" "Omg you're heavier than me"
These are the latest remarks about me that transitioned from "You're so short" "You're so chubby" "You need to lose weight"

Regardless of where I am in life, there'll always be comments, both good and bad. And as typical as we are, we always tend to focus on the bad ones, thinking that we have to be perfect, that there should never be any flaws or faults.

After getting into fitness seriously for at least 2 years, I finally had the confidence I've always wanted to have. Not entirely because of how I look physically, but more on what I can achieve, the skills I am capable of, the amount of weights I can lift, the mental strength that I have. Plus, being able to do all that I can do now with scoliosis, I think I made myself proud.

I honestly don't even know what I want to say right now, I guess it's just me trying to remind myself that it's ok if you don't fit into other people's perception of beauty, attractiveness, nor expectations; but you have to at least like yourself, be kind to yourself, embrace yourself, love yourself, knowing that people are never perfect.

And even at my current state of already embraced myself much more than how I had, I still break down once a while - like today.
But it's alright, it's not like you like everyone in this world anyway, so don't expect everyone to like you and your choices too.
