I am really disappointed on how little riot knows about why we are lane swapping in wild rift. If you watch your own pc game you should know even though your baron lane gets rekt too people have been lane swapping for the past fkin 5 6 years before you guys implemented turret shield for top/baron lane.

I am a professional player of Geek fam, and have played league pc for 5 years professionally as well.

Why the swap is so effective because the map is mirrored. People usually only swap to invade the red buff, and if you do not anticipate the swap. Your red buff get invaded you jungler is boom your game is over.

And if you were to start your own blue, it has higher armor and you cant do it as fast as red buff, and if u walk to enemy red buff from your red buff, you will still be slower to take down the enemy turret. Which means that whoever who decide to swap first has a huge advantage because they are more proactive and have better map positioning.

Besides, lane swap have no real way to avoid, before the game all you can do is to guess as if you are playing rock paper scissors. You drafted a winning baron lane/ dragon match-up? Lane swap bam all solved goodbye to your preparation. Take down the turret and you have the advantage now.

Counterargument from you guys is people take the other side and it is the same. Imo it is not, and teams can do the same is just because they have already prepared for the swap. If you never prepare and just get swapped you won't be able to swap the turret. Because every competitive team knows that swap is just part of the game now.

And even though both the turret is down, the game quickly goes into a 1-3-1 rotation meta and bypass the laning phase, which make drafting for counter match up useless.

And I really get triggered by people that only play pc game and say other mobile moba meta is useless on wild rift. Mobile has totally different game pace, if you only have your pc master race mindset you are going to get destroyed. I myself hate lane swap alot but I still have to prepare for it because how effective it is as a strategy.

Edit:1 lvl5 malphite/gragas tank vs lvl 5 fiora/camille/Jax with no item which is more useful? It is just not the same.
