OUR ECONOMY OR THE REVITALISED GREED?

Honestly speaking, what have you gained from the Revitalised Agreement?

This bad agreement enriched the rich, impoverished the poor and is threatening our nationhood. The victims of Riek Machar wars are still in POCS and IDPs centres wondering what the hell happened. Instead of a lean government that’s commensurate with our economic realities, the 2018 Revitalised Greed gave us 5 arrogant VPs, 35 underperforming ministers, over 500 MPs and more than 2,000 members of state assembly, uncontrolled corruption and wasteful spending. The guarantors of this bad agreement are Omar Bashir and Yoweri Museveni. Have they succeeded in weakening us constitutionally and economically? You can tell.

Recently, the central bank confirmed that it has no dollars in its reserves. What this means is that South Sudan is officially . The time has come for H.E. Salva Kiir to do the needful — DISSOLVE GOVERNMENT before its entire weight fell on South Sudanese.

How can it be that UNICEF feeds, clothes and educates our children, does it not worry you? Are we a failed people?

Uganda protest organisers playing with fire, president says

Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has warned protesters that they will be "playing with fire" if they press ahead with plans to stage an anti-corruption march to parliament on Tuesday.
Young Ugandans have been organising the march on social media to demand an end to corruption in government.

They have been partly inspired by their counterparts in neighbouring Kenya, who organised mass demonstrations that forced President William Ruto to drop plans to increase taxes. The protests have since morphed into calls for his resignation.

In a televised address, Mr Museveni warned the Ugandan organisers that their planned protest would not be tolerated.
"We are busy producing wealth… and you here want to disturb us. You are playing with fire because we cannot allow you to disturb us," he said.

Mr Museveni is accused by his critics of ruling Uganda with an iron hand since taking power in 1986, but his supporters praise him for maintaining stability in the East African state.
