Flood Aftermath

Salam dear friends, thank you very much for your concern, prayers, enquiries and kind thoughts.
My house started getting flooded on Saturday morning.

There was nothing we could do because we were away (in hometown Sabah reached by planes from Kuala Lumpur). We could just read the updates from our neighborhood Whatapps group. I saw the full picture of the disaster from the group updates. It was only then that it struck me what must been going through the minds of my neighbours and friends.The water level rose steadily to a level I failed to anticipate.

We decided to take flight home earlier than the planned trip. As soon as we arrived, we went back home just to documentate our home condition for insurance purposes.

Subhanallah. I cried before departing from Sabah, I cried at the airport. Somehow, I am just at peace when we open the front door. I am just relieved that the furniture seems to be at their places. It was just as the house was submerged underwater slowly and drained out steadily too.

There were not much electrical appliances that were affected except the fridge and the most valuable and loved gadget, THE GAMING PC. The CPU was underwater for about 3 days 😭. Therefore, we expect that we won't be LIVE for few weeks.

Although the furniture were not moved, however after we tried to dry them under the sun, one by one seems to collapse, beds, closet, desks, all total lost. There will be lots of cleaning and scrubbing to be done too.

I appreciate your offers to help to ease our burden. The simplest way to contribute is just viewing our previously live videos and send stars 🌟 . Any amount would definitely help and ease our burden. In the mean time, I thank you all for your kindness. I am so humbled and very touched. May Allah reward you in return.
