Update: Veloforce is now at rough cut stage, 105mins.

Veloforce was my first feature film, developed in Busan Asian Film School 2022, selected for Full Circle Lab FDCP 2023, partially funded by Finas and ARRI international support program (Berlin).

Its about a 38-years old mother who chases after her cycling dream, embarks on a journey with her conservative husband and rebellious teenage daughter.

《一时一时的》由无本电影杂志创办人阿良自导自演，大马影后陈翠梅，剧场导演罗国文，新人叶佳恩，马华作家周若鹏主演。电影讲述等待SPM成绩放榜的陈子健在家无所事事，偶然发现一直以来与他相依为命的妈妈交了新男友，顿时感到自己在家中地位不保，他开始通过各种举动表现出对妈妈新男友的不喜欢。这些举动让妈妈最终察觉到他的感受，为了儿子，妈妈决定做出改变。

3 years ago, when I first met Benji Lim and We Jun Cho! That was when I was the committee member of CFAM organizing the CFAM Producer Workshop 2020! I am impressed by their idea and concept trailer! I think they were so ready to kick off!

After 3 years, they made it! And I am so proud of them, salute their struggling journey, and respect their filmmakers' spirit! I always told myself if there is nothing u can do to develop or create a better future for the Malaysian film industry, just support and help in any way you can. And today, I will do the same for them too!

In hope “Borih, The Bidayuh Paddy Priestess” a short animation can connect the audience on the beauty of the Borih myth as a story telling that related to the Gawai rituls. It makes us reevaluate the connections between art, tradition, and ourselves.

Our mission is to raise awareness for positive change through art and we believe artists, audience, and art enthusiasts can serve as catalysts to inspire others to strive to achieve a more sustainable, harmonious relationship with the nature and culture.

In this modern contemporary world, we can used differences medium & creativity in celebrating this Harvest Festival to keeping this Culture & Tradition alive!!

Borih is a spiritual love journey of the Bidayuh paddy priestess. The chosen one will first have a weird dream and suffer from deadly sickness based on the vanquishing tradition. She has an enchanting life in the spiritual realm with the paddy spirit. But she must return to the human realm as a paddy priestess. On every Gawai – the paddy-thanksgiving day, she chants the borih song on the swing for their reunion and gets blessing for the subsequent harvesting.

This film will screen as part of our New Wave Competition 1 segment on Thursday with a repeat screening on Sunday at .
