The first Grace Period deadline to submit your KYC application has been extended to 31st December 2024. Aligning it with the second deadline to migrate. However, the final Grace Period deadline remains unchanged at 31st December 2024.

This extension gives all Pioneers more time to secure their Pi while ensuring the overall 6 month of Grace Period remains intact.

Important Notice: Extension of Pi Network KYC Grace Period Deadline

The Pi Network has extended the initial deadline for submitting KYC (Know Your Customer) applications during the Grace Period to 30 November, 2024. This extension allows Pioneers additional time to complete their KYC process.

Please note that the final deadline for Mainnet migration remains 31 December, 2024. To retain the majority of your previous Pi balance, excluding Pi mined in the six months prior to migration, it is essential to meet all deadlines.

Pi Network's KYC Grace Period Update

Starting July 1st, 2024, Pi Network has enacted a 6-month KYC Grace Period to prepare for the Open Network.
Pioneers must submit their KYC application within the first 3 months and complete both KYC and Mainnet migration within 6 months.

New app features, such as a countdown timer and pop-ups, will remind Pioneers of their deadlines. Those who have completed the migration won't see these reminders.
This Grace Period aims to balance giving enough time to complete KYC and migration while creating urgency. It's designed to ensure most Pioneers can complete the process, even accommodating those stuck due to specific issues.
This will help achieve KYC and migration goals, allowing more bonuses to transfer to Mainnet and preventing unverified Pi from migrating.
