In the Quran, God has clearly said that people who speak the truth He will definitely reward them, and people who speak lie to others than He will definitely punish them. “That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth and punish the hypocrites if He wills or accept their repentance,” (Al-Ahzab: 24).
