Japan has provided the International Organization for Migration (IOM) with $3.5 million to improve the living conditions of the Rohingyas and host communities in Cox's Bazar and Bhasan Char.

An Exchange of Notes was signed by Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Saida Shinichi and chief of mission, IOM Bangladesh, Lance Bonneau on Sunday, said a press release issued by the Japanese Embassy on Monday.

The Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC) confirmed today that WFP rations have not been cut, expressing gratitude to WFP and its donors for their unwavering support to the Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs) in Cox’s Bazar and Bhasan Char:

✅ USD 12 per person/month in Cox’s Bazar
✅ USD 13 per person/month in Bhasan Char

This vital aid sustains food security and nutrition for Rohingya refugees. However, it's not enough but we survive. The Rohingya community must not be forgotten. We urgently call on the international community to continue its support and ensure no Rohingya is left behind in this humanitarian crisis.
