Here’s the Episode 4 of a mini series we’ve color-graded for TM Unifi a while ago.
This episode was a challenge because 80% of the scenes were shot through a car windscreen.
The exposure and contrast kept changing and there were tons of reflections in those scenes.
One of the ways to keep the color presentable was to apply multiple color keyframes.

The requirement was to keep the color simple and natural.
In this episode, the scenes gradually changed from a sunny afternoon to a dim evening, which was very interesting.

Skin retouching and color-grading done for one of Aiken’s (a Wipro Unza brand) latest commercial.
1. The female talent is a good-looking person. But since most of them were close-up shots using RED Raptor, flaws were bound to be captured and skin retouching was inevitable for this skin care TVC.
2. Beauty/skincare/cosmetic commercials are very very subjective.
3. Both skin retouching and color-grading were done on Davinci Resolve.

这是我们为 Aiken（Wipro Unza 旗下品牌）的最新广告进行皮肤修饰和调色的项目。
1. 女主角其实长得很好看。 但由于大部分都是使用RED Raptor拍的近距离镜头，瑕疵难免，对于这部护肤广告来说，修图也是不可避免的。
2. 跟美颜有关系的广告，都是非常非常主观的。
3. 皮肤修饰和调色都是使用Davinci Resolve完成。

Here’s a color-grading project (involving the use of stock footage) we’ve completed for Enchanteur.
80% of this commercial was made up of 3D work.
For the balance 20%, Enchanteur has decided to use stock footage that were purchased online.
Purple was the main color theme and, hence, all the stock-footage scene was color-grading with a purple accent.
The challenge was to deliver what the client wanted without breaking anything in the stock footage (since their file quality was not as high as that of raw footage).
In conclusion, stock footage can be a good alternative too for a commercial project.

Here’s a throwback of a color-grading work we did for a short film that was submitted to The Kancil Sick Six 2023.
It’s worth-mentioning that the first half of the film was a one-take shot.
Overall, it’s a heart-warming story whereby the ‘aroma’ of the pillow represents family warmth.

Here are some screenshots of a colour-grading project we completed for Bluescope‘s promo video a while ago.
Bluescope supplies roofing materials to both domestic and commercial buildings.
This video talks about how a kid grew up being ‘protected’ by those roofs.
Hence, the colour evolves from a vintage to a modern look.
