JIKA ada anugerah murid dan guru paling cekal, mungkin SK Magandai adalah pemenangnya. Saban tahun, isu infrastruktur asas jalan raya di Magandai, Kota Marudu yang kerap kali viral seperti tiada penghujungnya.
🔷 Terbaru, 2 murid dan 2 guru SK Magandai terpaksa bermalam di sulap (Pondok kebun) memandangkan baki perjalanan kembali ke sekolah masih terlalu jauh (70KM jarak perjalanan)
🔷 Mengikut kronologi, kedua beradik itu dalam perjalanan untuk kembali mengikuti sesi persekolahan di sekolah berkenaan, beberapa hari lalu.
🔷 Ketika dalam perjalanan, mereka berdua ditumpangkan guru yang juga sedang menuju ke sekolah itu, namun kenderaan guru terbabit rosak ketika dalam perjalanan berikutan jalan yang teruk dan tiada pilihan lain kecuali bermalam di hutan memandangkan baki perjalanan masih terlalu jauh.
🔶 "Kami tidak akan bermalam di perjalanan jika jalan menuju SK Magandai berkeadaan baik" kata cikgu Moniq
🔶 "Nasib dua murid masih kecil itu baik kerana ada orang dewasa bersama mereka dalam perjalanan itu," tambahnya menerusi hantaran di media sosial miliknya.
🔶 "Penat sama lapar dan semalam sajuk la bikin bagagar" kata murid itu yang dilihat hanya berkaki ayam.
🔷 Menurut Cikgu Moniq lagi, luluh hatinya melihat kedua murid itu terpaksa berjalan jauh untuk kembali ke sekolah dan menyifatkan mereka yang baru di darjah dua dan tiga masih terlalu kecil untuk menanggung kepayahan seperti itu.😓
