Adam Smasher is a full-borg solo and rival of Morgan Blackhand. He is employed by Arasaka and by 2077, has risen to the position of head of security and the personal bodyguard of Yorinobu Arasaka.

He is a towering cyborg, with little humanity left to be seen - not that he ever had much to begin with. After being reduced to mush by an RPG blast, Arasaka offered him a choice - either pull the plug or become a full body cyborg. With little to no options and a lack of care for his human side, he agreed and became more machine than man. Adam has no empathy for others, including his fellow employees, but Arasaka kept him alive, so he lives to repay their kind deeds to him by killing the enemies of the corporation.

In either case, you need to Both Sides, Now by completing a specific set of main job missions. [Cyberpsycho Sighting : Phantom of Night City]
Defeating Norio Akuhara : Located near the near the middle of the City Center, you'll come across a small alleyway. As you near the area Regina will call you, informing you of the Cyberpsycho in the area. Before you continue on, it is worth mentioning that there is a small crate along the right hand side of the room. This crate will contain a pair of Legendary Mantis Blades.

[Cyberpsycho Sighting : Demons of War]
Investigating the bridge where this gig takes place shows an NCPD robot killing a beat cop. Shortly afterward, the robot explodes likely from the cyberpsycho here, Matt Liaw. As with any cyberpsycho mission, Cyberware Malfunction is a great quickhack to use. This disables their cyberware preventing any fancy abilities from being used. Liaw is a fast cyberpsycho that likes to hide behind cover with a sniper rifle. The best way to know when Liaw is lining up a shot at you is that his rifle has a laser on it. Having a laser pointed at you doesn’t mean he’ll shoot immediately, but you should still be careful. Tech weapons are a great way to deal with Liaw since you can shoot through his cover.

[Cyberpsycho Sighting : Lt. Mower]
One of the best quickhacks for dealing with a cyberpsycho and especially Lt. Mower is Cyberware Malfunction. While this can cost a lot of ram to use, it prevents the target from using their cyberware. As Lt. Mower loves to jump around and dash quickly, you can prevent them from doing this using that quickhack. Otherwise, just be prepared to deal with a lot of movement.
If you fight her inside the area where she starts, she’ll take advantage of the water on the ground. She can electrocute it making it dangerous to stand in. Fortunately, you can stand on the sides without being shocked. Oddly enough when scanning Lt. Mower, it says she’s weak to electricity. This is a good opportunity to take advantage of the Short Circuit quickhack.

By day, she’s a living nightmare for greedy corpos, pointin’ the finger on abuse, digging up problematic witnesses, dishin’ out fees and penalties and whatever. And by night – she f***s. Like a f**kin’ cat in heat, with whoever lands on the deck of her yacht docked down at the marina.

I’d act more surprised, but I ain’t – I mean you gotta let out all that stress somehow, right? So anyway, one of these corpos that got its toes stomped on wants footage of these wet-n-wild o**y f**kfests. They got in mind a joint screening with the councilwoman will help her see the light of a more pro-business attitude. I send you the yacht name and coords, you fetch the footage. Oh… and I wouldn’t sit on the furniture if I was you.

At one point after Life During Wartime, you'll get a call from an Elizabeth Peralez, wife to mayoral candidate, Jefferson Peralez. She doesn't wish to discuss anything over the holo so requests you meet her in person.

Once you reach the meeting point, get in the car where you can then talk more freely with the couple, who note their suspicions that they believe Night City's late mayor, Lucius Rhyne, was killed rather than dying from heart complications. They'll then ask you to scroll a braindance from an attempted attack on Rhyne shortly before he actually died to see if you can get any clues from it. You'll learn a few key pieces of evidence from it, namely an NCPD detective, River Ward, showed up needing to talk with their security just before the attack and took out the would-be assailant Péter Horváth, that a place called the Red Queen's Race was mentioned, and Weldon Holt, the deputy mayor, is running as the other mayoral candidate now in Rhyne's place.

Ask whatever questions you wish with Jefferson, who'll then give you River's contact information to call the detective. Call River up who'll agree to meet with you to discuss the case at Chubby Buffalo's BBQ. When you arrive, you'll find him talking with his fellow detective and partner Harold Han, who sounds like he's told River more than once to stop digging into Rhyne's case and that even his superior has told River to let it go. River will dismiss this though and Han will leave for you two to chat alone.

Search And Destroy PART II : Saving Goro Takemura

Knowing how to save Takemura in Cyberpunk 2077 is easy to miss. You're basically told he's dead so even thinking about if you can is quickly pushed aside in the chaos of what happens. Obviously massive spoilers ahead but then you should only be here if you're searching specifically for details on how to save Takemura, which we're about to cover.

This former bodyguard to Saburo Arasaka becomes one of your companions in the game, and if you're anything like me, you begin to become quite fond of the complex Corpo by the time the parade mission rolls around. But, if you simply follow the story and the game's instructions, you will lose Takemura eventually.

In the second half of the “Search and Destroy” mission, Arasaka soldiers break into your hotel room, disrupting your meeting. The chaos causes everyone in the room to fall to the ground floor of the apartments. As you come to, Johnny Silverhand encourages you to get out without trying to save Takemura.

If you don’t rescue Takemura, he may no longer be a part of the story. However, saving him at least allows him to survive this situation so there’s a chance he’ll appear again after this mission.

This cyberpsycho gig leads down the Pacifica pier to NCPD psycho, Diego Ramirez. As usual, when dealing with a cyberpsycho, one of the best quickhacks you can use is Cyberware Malfunction. This prevents them from dashing around quickly, which makes for an easier kill when they’re vulnerable. However, Ramirez is slightly resistant to fire and melee.

Once you’ve taken out Ramirez, loot a conversation shard on their body named, “Archived Conversation: Ken Masuda and Diego Ramirez.” Then, search for a dead body near the center of the yellow minimap area with reed clothes on. This body will have a shard on it called, “Archived Conversation: Hideyoshi Ueno and Ken Masuda.” Afterward, text Regina Jones with the information to complete the Cyberpsycho Sighting: Smoke on the Water gig.

After a truck transporting cyberware crashed in the Badlands without NCPD showing up, Regina Jones has started to wonder why. Investigate the car accident to find traces of a cyberpsycho. Using your scanner, you can find a blood trail leading to a large fire and a group of buildings. This is where Aldecaldo cyberpsycho, Euralio Alma is waiting. Unlike other sightings, Alma is wearing a mech suit making for a more difficult fight.

Unfortunately, the mech suit has given him a strong resistance to fire, with a small resistance to electricity and melee. If you get lucky, you can use the explosive oil tanks in the area against him. Otherwise, this is an easy fight to cheese if you use Tech Weapons while on top of a shack roof. Alma will only be able to hit you with a rocket barrage attack, making most of their shots miss.

Dancing on a Mine Field is a Special Delivery gig where you have to grab an abandoned car from a minefield. The Badlands are filled with disarmed minefields since 2071 according to fixer, Dakota Smith. Unfortunately, a number of these mines aren’t actually disarmed and have led to people getting hurt. Your job is to find a car left behind in one of these minefields.

You’ll eventually come across a group of buildings with a tower in the center. This is where your target is hiding with a sniper rifle.
If you plan on getting close, be wary of two mines above the ladder climbing up.

Fanatic Zion Wylde has the title Trapper next to their name which shouldn’t be too surprising. Also, they have a 30% weakness to poison if you can take advantage of that. Otherwise, you can use weapon disabling quickhacks here as well as Cyberware Malfunction to stun them. This will also prevent Wylde from using any cyberware abilities.

Space Oddity is a side quest that begins after V finds the bums, Brandon and Rick, tinkering with a military briefcase near a rundown store in southern Rancho Coronado just outside the Piez fast travel point. V can choose to either purchase the laptop from Brandon for 2000 Eurodollars or intimidate the bums (7 Body attribute check) into giving it to him. The bums tell V that they found the briefcase in a dumpster next to a co**se.

Upon obtaining the briefcase, V must pass an Intelligence attribute check (7 Intelligence) and a hacking minigame to access it. In the Files tab of the briefcase, there is a launch.exe file that gives V the location to a drop point. The drop points are located in the Biotechnica Flats outside the city.

V will be met by a hostile Militech rapid response team. After dispatching the enemies, V opens the package to obtain a "Untitled 18" - Brancesi 2021 Oil Painting worth 4000 Eurodollars.

Target’s name is one Logan Garcia. He runs an Animals fight club. Used to fight himself, actually. Still gets in the ring from time to time. Problem is he doesn’t know when to put on the brakes. Recently he knocked his sparring buddy, Lenny Steiner, to the mat with a giant dent in his skull. Instead of calling for help, he had the kid thrown in the bay with a cinderblock tied round his neck.

NetWatch agent or Voodoo Boys?

The Cyberpunk 2077 I Walk The Line Job is one of the main story missions that V needs to complete to find the help he needs. You'll be working for the Voodoo Boys and breaking into the Grand Imperial Mall to get some information from NetWatch. You'll be faced with a choice at the end of this job, which impacts the following mission. If you need help with the I Walk The Line Choice, that's at the end of this guide.

Start by heading over to the GIM after leaving Placide, and meet his two lackey's out front, who will point you to the best entry point. You'll want to head down the ramp towards the garage, and duck behind the blue car that's on its side. Continue on for what is essentially an I Walk The Line stealth guide. If you want to go loud, that's perfectly fine, but stealthing this mission can be challenging!
