In today's post, we talk about Bela Bartok's approach to tonal music, and how we can apply it to music for , , and other media! The Axis system has to be one of the most interesting weapons that composers have to enrich their progressions, melodies and scores in general.

Axis Theory is a system that expands the seven notes associated with a major/minor scale, so all twelve western scale notes can form a chord that can play a function. Learn more about it
