Storm update: Hurricane Bud has been downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm. This is a view of the Cabo marina this morning from our office. The rain isn't coming down too hard, but it's been coming down steadily since about 6am. Winds are about 21mph right now.

There will be plenty of street entertainment, galleries will be offering snacks and adult beverages, and there are plenty of good restaurants among the galleries. Park behind the town on Centenario St. it's only a short walk from there.

Storm rolling in over Cabo! Tropical Storm Lidia has already brought a lot of wind and rain, with the worst still yet to come once it hits land land today. For our Baja readers, how's everything looking in your neighborhood?
*A STORM'S A COMING!* A tropical storm is headed towards Los Cabos, and we're already seeing its effects. This video was taken in San Jose around 1:00 this afternoon! We're expected to get rain the rest of the week, so break out the umbrellas and the galoshes. 🌧☂️ And for goodness sakes, stay out of the arroyos when it's raining up in the hills. An arroyo is a dry riverbed that, at the appropriate time (today), becomes a wet riverbed very quickly, as you can see in the video.
