Hello my name is Remi Rae Rogers, I was born July 10th, 2024 at 8:08am. I weigh 4 pounds 10.1 ounces and 16.73 inches in length. My parents Kylie and Lucas knew I would have a clubbed foot but, when I was born the doctors discovered my jaw wouldn’t open up and one of my nostrils was closed off. Immediately I was rushed to surgery for a tracheostomy, which is a procedure where a temporary tube is placed through a hole in my neck. This procedure allows me to get air into my lungs. At the moment they are keeping me sedated and on a ventilator. Next week I will be receiving my custom trach and slowly weaned off both the ventilator and some of the medication. More test will continue to be ran in order to fully understand everything that’s going on, in the meantime you can help by keeping my family and I in your prayers.
