ERNEST KOHL - "FUGITIVE OF LOVE" - Featuring PHOEBE SNOW - THE REMIXES is a brand new original Maxi-Single from International Award-Winning Billboard Recording Artist Ernest Kohl and Featuring Legendary Grammy Award Nominated Vocalist Phoebe Snow.
This new original production was Produced & Arranged by Ernest Kohl and Steve Skinner and written by Ernest Kohl, Phoebe Snow & Steve Skinner.
Together they have created a huge new exciting, extravagant massive progressive turbo-changed EDM-Mainstream Dance-Pop-NRG-Circuit-Nu-Disco-Trance-House-Euro-Club-Crossover Anthem release that completely new unique sound that is totally thrilling and amazing.
The incredible story of the making of this release is a book within it self. Phoebe Snow who had a great passion for Dance Music, had greatly wanted to do something diffrent in her career when she contacted her dear friend Ernest Kohl to Produced a full-on dance record duet.
Ernest Kohl loving the idea & the concept of the sound of his dear friend's 4 octave range voice in a dance duet. The pure idea of writing a brand new song with a new sound release for the two singers was also very interesting to Ernest Kohl's Production partner Steve Skinner.
So they began to make it happen, and happen it did to great success. Phoebe Snow on the first session came in with all her song writing notebooks and her guitar.
They began with Phoebe singing her greatest Billboard "Poetry Man", just with her voice and guitar, Ernest & Steve were so impressed, They asked what was the basis of the lyrical meaning and why she wrote it? Her answer was not what they had expected.
Her song was written not only from love, but from loss of a great love in her life and how it left her heart vacant.
This gave Ernest a great idea, what if we write the "Part 2" of what happens next after he said? Phoebe & Steve loved the idea. So instead of writing a sappy love song, They together wrote a hard-hitting true life lyrical dance song with that great meaning with in it, Thus we now have the new song "FUGITIVE OF LOVE"!
And then they went to work creating this stunning powerful astonishing production and then proceeded on creating and laying the stellar vocals, which took days and days as Phoebe and Ernest laid layers and layers of vocals, fully using each one's full vocal range ( Ernest insisted Phoebe make use of her outstanding 4 octave singing range)
The full plan was not only to include it on Ernest Kohl's Album but to do a full-length maxi-single release of the song that featured new remixes in diffrent genres of dance music, this was Phoebe Snow's dream.
Also Ernest told Phoebe about a new contemporary Musical he was working on and that he felt the song would fit perfectly in the score, Phoebe loved the idea 100%!
Fate had a diffrent plan though unfortunately as sadly Phoebe Snow passed away on April 26, 2011 due to complications from suffering a cerebral brain hemorrhage, But before she died she had made Ernest vow to produce a Full-Length Maxi-Single of the song.
And now finally years later Ernest with this new brand new release is keeping his promise to his dear late best friend Phoebe "To Make Phoebe Proud & Show The Astounding Voice Of Phoebe Snow Lives On!" and giving us a this New Full-Length Maxi-Single release it truly deserves.
