Community building with murals seen in Santa Anita

The community of Santa Anita, with the support of the State's Citizen Security Secretariat, has created a mural at the community center—a space that was reclaimed by residents after health services were discontinued there.

The mural aims to foster a sense of belonging and beautify the environment, providing a more positive outlook for the community, especially for children and young people in the area.

This is the second mural to be created, and it holds significant importance as it encourages community participation and generates a sense of ownership, leading to the preservation of what has been accomplished, said community leader Brenda Pinto.

offer swimmers safety recommendations

Lifeguards are offering safety recommendations to swimmers, given the high number of children at the beach and the presence of strong currents in certain areas.

The main recommendation is to keep a close watch on children at the shore and prevent them from venturing into the sea, as underwater currents can drag them or cause them to fall into pits created by the currents.
