_On the third day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there; and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. John 2:1-2 AMP_
We all know how this story went about. We see the beginning of miracles Jesus did, the manifesting of His glory and how His disciples believed and accepted Him. Well, here is one fact of the story: *Jesus was invited to the wedding!*
We never see Jesus running around looking for a platform for His shining. We don't see Him looking at where He would turn water into wine. Infact Jesus knew it was time for Him to start shining in this world, in the last verse of chapter 1 just before this scripture, you will see that He tells this to Nathanael.
Most of us might be feeling it's our time to go out to the world and shine. Well if it's your time, trust that you won't even go searching for an opportunity. An opportunity will find you! And all you need is to have the wisdom and discern that this is an opportunity for you.
Imagine if Jesus turned down the invitation and felt holier than thou; that this wedding was going to be filled with people drinking wine and all that. Some of us have been invited to our place of opportunities and maybe turned it down. See God has commanded us to shine!
_*Let your light so shine before men*, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.Matthew 5:14-16 KJV_
And these moments require wisdom!
_If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5 KJV_
Wisdom will never let you lose any opportunities in this life. Wisdom will make you discover your platform of shining in this world which is God given. Jesus had wisdom working in Him at this time.
_Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity... Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV_
You can discern and use every opportunity if wisdom is at work in your life.
