WHO IS CENLLONE ?
Alexander Stanley Brave Phiri. (born August 27, 2001), known professionally as Cenllone, is a Malawian rapper, singer and songwriter. He became a songwriter in 2016, at the age of 15 but he firstly appeared in a studio for recording in 2018, at the age of 17.

Early life
Alexander Stanley Brave Phiri was born on August 27, 2001, and spent his first two years in Lilongwe before the divorce of his parents in 2003. After the divorce, his mother took Cenllone and his five year old sister and left the city. They returned to their home City, Zomba.
As a little boy, Cenllone enjoyed watching movies so much that he began dreaming of becoming an actor.
Cenllone grew up believing that one day he will be an actor, due to this ambition, he combined names of actors Sylvester Stallone and John Cena to come up with Cenllone.
.......yeah man! I took cen from Cena of john Cena and combine it with llone from Stallone of Sylvester Stallone then I came up with Cenllone! The process was just like that....

But this ambition got erased in 2016 and he turned his eyes to music.
Career
Cenllone became a songwriter in 2016 at age of 15, when he was in standard 8. At the time, he was calling himself a dancehall artist under the influence of Tommy Lee Sparta and Vybz Kartel. In early 2017, Cenllone gradually began paying much of his attention to hip hop music than dancehall under the influence of Lil Wayne. Little by little he began developing skills on how to rap, he then began writing hip hop lyrics.

Cenllone met Cuspate at Malindi Secondary School,2017. Cuspate was a well known rapper at the school by then and after listening to his music, Cenllone got motivated and began planning to record a song.
On December 1st 2018, Cenllone appeared in a studio (icon records) for the first time where he recorded a song titled Vanquish and the song features his neighborhood friend (Gtroxy). After some days Cenllone appeared in a dencehall song titled Tangodekha, alongside Mdezy and Clemore. Tangodekha was picked at number 2 on Chanco Radio Nyimbo za Nkhonde top 20 Chart. On 31st December, Ndizantama was released.
In 2019, Cenllone appeared in songs like Onsewa, Silent killer and Mfana wapadara(featuring Mdezy). These were last songs to be released at icon records.
In late 2019, Icon records was moved to Lilongwe city after that Cenllone began recording at Downtown records.
In February 2020, he began working on his first EP titled Weeping Soul. Heal me was released as a first single from the EP, alot of people liked this song. In April he appeared in a song titled Tell Me alongside yo buoy . In June, Gossip was released as a second single from Weeping soul project and this song also liked by many. Other singles from the EP include: WS(August) and Awful horror(November). Cenllone was also featured in Yo buoy's Ndiziwise ( August).
Weeping Soul EP was released on December 25, and it's deluxe edition was release on February 25, 2021 with an extra song titled Hannah.
