PART THREE - HUSTLE GAME - POWER OF HIP-HOP

In October, 2021, Hustle Game - Power of Hip Hop gets reunited and engages in various activities such as disco parties and a concert show in December with a theme of "Open mic show" that year as a comeback. By 2022, Rap Genius formed a brand called Live International - Worldwide destined to sponsor shows, tours and concerts aimed at taking various Musicians music and art to a professional level. Live International - Worldwide launches the brand at Luxurious Cultural Center in area 23, Lilongwe, Malawi with an up and coming Artist's show called "The Flame Nation show" on 3rd April, 2022. Various musicians performed at the show to support the movement.

NOTE: FLAME Nation and LIVE International - Worldwide are Rap Genius' entertainment brands.

Hustle Game - Power of Hip Hop relaunched a concert show on 06th July, 2022 on independence day holiday as another comeback into the music industry. It was a success story for the brand and company to be as various musicians got their performance art on stage. In the same month, the brand engaged in another showcase on July 27th, 2022. An organization of two weeks made an attractive show with performances by Cyfa Steez Official, G-Newo, Blaq D, Venom (Producer) and various artists from around area 23, Lilongwe, Malawi. However, with the recordings of the latest extended playlist called "Rap Jagannath Style", Rap Genius was made to perform and host the show as master of ceremony.

PART THREE - HUSTLE GAME - POWER OF HIP-HOP

The year 2019 continued the rap journey after working with National Registration Bureau (NRB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Malawi Government as Data Clerk for six months, Rap Genius then Harris Genius formed Hustle Game - Power of Hip Hop with partner Negus Ocean (G.O.G). Selling commodities such as charcoal and tomatoes from 2018 to 2019 in the streets. In addition to music, Rap Genius through Rapchild International was signed under 689 Records with Manager Johanson in early 2020. Hustle Game - Power of Hip Hop still continued the movement after a failed record deal with 689 Records by Rap Genius and the label's management.

On the other hand, Rapchild International Incoporated was also making and marketing music records. As a group with artists such as Ngwazi drew, EL GondoGun and Ebenezeer Chibwana at Run Records with producer DJ GV. With songs such as We up, Set up and various songs paving way for other Artists in the music industry. A musician called Sycrizo (now deceased) recorded a remix of Set up after a copy of the song was sent him. Sycrizo, already a recording Artist with videoshootings with Dir. Megabytes also gained recognition for Rapchild International Incoporated to a shared audience and fanbase. In 2020, Rap Genius records a song called "Lilongwe state of mind" a solo project leading to the signing with 689 Records as a mixtape called "Afro state of mind" was released. Copies of CDs were printed, sold and songs were fingerprinted by COSOMA for aired frequencies and monitoring. Afro state of mind mixtape had radioplays by various radio stations and was a stepping stone for Rap Genius as an artist.

PART TWO - THE RED TAPE (TRANSITION)

2020, the rapper signs a deal with Moneymade Connect with Johanson as Artist Manager. The deal was signed by the rapper as Harris Genius a solo artist while still managing Rapchild International Incoporated as a brand. In the year 2021, a collaboration with QwalaQwala, Tronee, Canal and Nikaysh of theme song called "Life ili nyatwa remix" was recorded by King Duda and video was shot by Dir. Megabytes at Vox Populi. The song marks a stepping stone for then called Harris Genius and was a distributed on platforms such as YouTube and Mikozi Network.

However, Malawian radio and television stations airplayed the song nonstop until the collaboration got a huge recognition by the audience and continues to play a major role in spreading popularity for Rap Genius, Rapchild International and FLAME Nation brands.

PART TWO - THE RED TAPE (TRANSITION)

In the year 2013, I started making music records with Mad House. We recorded a song called "Murder Dem" with Toddie and Ace Kid. In fact, this was my first time to make a studio record at Thug Records with musicians such as Ace Kid, Cyfa Steez, Black Knowledge, Toddie and Stampede with producer Gonos the Thug. We recorded a song called "We Monsters" as my second song collaboration. By then, Rap Genius was called Exotic Thor before the transition to Harris Genius to as currently the rapper being called Rap Genius. At that point, we were making street records that weren't played on radios or uploaded on websites. We didn't have that kind of radio politics or knowledge of copyrights for licenses and royalties.

As of 2016, the rapper goes back to the studio for an up and coming artist into the rap music industry. Rapping and making music records with G-Newo and People's Mcee reforming the Souls of Underground Clan. It was such an inspiration and influence for a rapper who thought his rap career was faded. "G-Newo" was such an inspiration and a huge mentor for me as an Artist/Musician, with People's Mcee being the acting producer and rapper in Souls of Underground Clan". In November, 2016, Souls of Underground Clan was invited to perform at an album launch at Luxurious Cultural Center in area 23, Lilongwe, Malawi, Africa. The performance paved way for the group as we shared the stage with "Atort Manje" and various Musicians.

The journey into the rap industry continues as rapper Rap Genius makes more music with the Souls of Underground Clan playing an important role in the clan. By then, the rapper's stage name was Harris Genius until the transition to Rap Genius. In 2020, a transformation took place where the rapper forms a brand called Rapchild International. A team of five players joined the movement as the peak to the music industry arised. Investing and making more music as a group was a joint with Ngwazi Drew, Gondogun, Lil Cykor, Art and Graphics Director Tony Ricky and Josie a Nigerian artist and musician. At this time, we made records such as "We Up" and a mixtape record of "Afro state of mind" by then Harris Genius with "Lilongwe state of mind" being the hit song in the tape.

PART ONE - FLAME NATION

However, during this time of year, the rapper hadn't record a single song until 2016 with Souls of Underground Clan. In 2015 after convincing his later deceased father to go back to school, Harris was enrolled at Exploits University to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration. The rapper graduated with a Diploma in Management Studies in the year 2018 and worked with National Registration Bureau (NRB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Malawi Government in 2019.

The Rap Journey (Music)
In the late 2013, the rapper starts making music with Mad House working with producer Gonos at Thug Records. In 2016, G-Newo, People's Mcee and Rap Genius re-established a clan called Souls of Underground recording and producing their own songs until 2019. In 2020, Rap Genius founded Rapchild International, a marketing agency for his own record label and brand called FLAME Nation. In the year, the rapper released Afro state of mind Mixtape mixing best of collaborated songs with various musicians. With hit single Lilongwe state of mind, the mixtape was respectively accepted by audiences, radio stations and a fingerprint plus copyrights from Copyrights Society of Malawi (COSOMA).

PART ONE - FLAME NATION

INTRODUCTION

Birth name "Harris Jumbe" was born on 26th September, 1994 at Malamulo Hospital, Thyolo, Malawi. Rap Genius started making Rap music in 2013 at Thug Records with Producer Gonos The Thug in Area 23, Lilongwe, Malawi. Rap Genius has made music with various Musicians such as Ace Kid (Che Sight) now a photographer and his elder brother Black Knowledge formerly known for representing a group called Mad House. Other Artists such as Cyfa Steez, Toddie, People's Mcee and G-Newo (Souls of Underground Clan) have featured the rapper on some of their songs/music.

Rap Genius was born to parents "Beatrice and Steven Jumbe" of Christian faith. Growing up as a youngster, the rapper was exposed to Rap music by his uncle "Gift Chidothe" who raised the artist from seven to eleven years of age. "I grew up listening to Eminem, Wu Tang Clan, 50 Cent (G Unit), 2 Pac, Jay Z and a respective selection of R&B music from various Musicians".

In 2005, the Rapper moved to Lilongwe from Blantyre to live with parents after his uncle fell sick and died the following year (2006). In his primary school years, Harris has gone to schools such as Ladybird International School (Blantyre) and Walani Private School (Lilongwe) after moving from Blantyre to Lilongwe. Also, the rapper has gone to secondary schools such Lakeview Secondary School, Phwezi Boys Secondary School and Gateway Boys Secondary School to pursue his Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).

Tertiary Education

In 2014, Harris Jumbe enrolled at Natural Resources College to pursue a Diploma in Land Administration in which the rapper attends it for a semester and changes for Diploma in Irrigation Technology and attends it for a semester then drops out of college. During the era at Natural Resources College, the rapper was involved in numerous drug and alcohol abuses leading to college drop out.
