Fed minutes reveal concerns over dual-sided risks to inflation and economic activity, influencing policy outlook.
US producer-side inflation data and varied Fed official stances complicate the gold price trajectory.
(XAU/USD) climbed for the second straight day and printed a two-week high at around $1877.21 on Wednesday, courtesy of falling US Treasury bond yields spurred by the latest Fed meeting minutes. At the time of writing, the XAU/USD is trading at 1874.73, almost flat as the Asian session begins.

At the same time DXY is in the phase of correction to the support area, the publication of bullish news for the dollar may resume further growth of the index, which will partly affect the gold. ✅🗣🕯👀 IDEA📌 🔴XAUUSD has been making a new downward jump since the opening of the session on Monday. The strong distributive move continues. The price is approaching an important area
The chart shows an important liquidity area, but not the final one 1800. At the moment I am interested in the 1828-1812 area. The nearest support line may be tested soon, followed by a correction before further decline. The strong bearish trend continues in the market on the back of strengthening. ISM Manufacturing PMI & Prices are released today, as well as FED Chars Powell speaks. It is worth paying attention to these releases. From the technical analysis point of view, I will wait for a bounce from 1828 towards the nearest resistance to increase liquidity, after which the price will continue another decline towards 1812 and 1800. The moving averages are showing a strong trend and there is a strong signal on D1

Ideas For XAUUSD / GOLD
XAUUSD after breaking trend support, forms a small correction and stops its fall around 1916. A trend bounce is forming and the price is testing an important resistance
Globally, gold is forming a global bearish price channel on the D1 chart, but on the dev timeframe we can also identify a sideways flat in the format of a symmetrical triangle. A breakthrough of one of the figura borders will form the strongest impulse to one side or the other.
Locally, on H1, the price may soon test not only the resistance level, but also one of the local highs marked by the red dot. At the moment we are considering a scenario of further decline from one of the mentioned resistance levels, as the price is forging and realizing a global bearish set-up - a decline after a false resistance of the descending channel.
Support levels: 1923.8, 1916
Resistance levels: 1926, 1932
I expect a retest of the resistance area before a further fall. The retest may be formed by a false breakout

GBPUSD breaks the trend support and is in the red zone, but the price may form a false breakdown and counter-trend correction before further fall
On the chart we see a global uptrend within the price channel, but at the moment of strengthening of the dollar, the currency pair gbpusd breaks the support of the trend and is in the red zone.
As part of the breakout and strong impulse, the price is testing the flat support and may form a false breakdown of 1.26065, followed by local growth either to 1.26800 or to the previously broken channel line (counter-trend correction)

There are not many key news releases this week, but all of them are published on Wednesday, they are worth paying attention to, for the data indicator will provide us with a medium-term insight for pricing:
• 1) SP Global US Services PMI
• 2) ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI
• 3) ISM Non-Manufacture Prices
Monday is a day off in the US, hence we do not expect high volatility.
From the technical analysis point of view:
The price is in a descending price channel. The nearest resistance that may play an important role for the price is at 1920, 1935, on Monday and Tuesday the price is likely to reach this area before falling further. Why am I expecting a fall? Pay attention to the DXY chart. The dollar index has consolidated above the strong 103 level, forming an impulse and testing a false break of 104.3.
